Its size is perfect for planting herbs, the 3 tiers really make it nice for items and easy to select at the time of need. Assembly is very easy, only tough part is the 2 screws in the middle into the base (by tough I mean turning by hand) held up well in the wind and rain, and holds plenty of soil. Extremely light when assembling but strong once assembled. Definitely become drilling holes at the base for watering, I added a 3rd.

Pros - Great product. Very easy to assemble/it took me about 12 minutes to put together.Con (if you skip this step) - I opted not to drill holes in the bottom section. Our first days long rain, the top two section were fine, but the water from those sections flowed into the bottom section and flooded the herbs I had in there.Had I taken the time to drill the holes before adding my soil/plants the water would’ve drained out of the bottom section.Again, it’s a great product and looks great on my uncovered porch. Just don’t skip any steps.

This item was well made and easy to assemble. The only issue is that the water drains too freely from the top and middle tiers to the bottom. I added drainage holes to the back of the bottom tier a little up from the bottom. These holes should be placed between the drainage channels from the above tier and not in line with them. I tried using mesh to hold stones to support landscape fabric in the bottom of the top two tiers but it does not appear to be sufficient. (See yellowing of leaves in picture.) When I fill it again next season I will try filling the channels with some sort of spongy foam to see if that slows the drainage even further. Love the product, I just need to fine tune this issue.

I love this planter! It came in 2 pieces and it was an easy snap on assembly. My flowers are growing beautifully. I will be buying another one. I have shared the link with my family and friends as I've been asked where they could get one. It's very sturdy. The only thing that can make it better is handles.

When I first received it it came with 2 left legs but the company immediately sent a right leg. It is sturdy but has fairly large drainage areas in the bottom of each level. I put a coconut mat in each layer like another reviewer suggested. I also bought a rectangular drainage plate to go underneath the bottom legs to prevent mud from messing up the patio. The color was a little drab.I put it up against the house right next to my back door for convenience.I would probably buy it again with the awareness that it needs a little extra help and money to make it perfect.

I got this for a herb garden but ended up using it for flowers this year. This planter is very study and was the perfect addition to our garden. The only thing to note is use newspaper or a weed blocker to line the bottom of the top two tiers. This helps so dirt doesn't spill over to the bottom tier.
