I received this item and I was excited. I enjoy having a double burner in the kitchen. They are so handy to have. All kitchens should have one. This burner is well made. It warms up very nicely.The only problem I had is the design. It is not trendy enough for me. Seemed too big and old-fashioned.The price mark was reasonable, being that everything is so costly.I purchased it to use it for every day, to boil water and warm up and cook up small meals.I did return it and ordered an upgraded model. I am sure I will like it because it does fit the decor of my kitchen. The quality of the unit is fine and fits the description. Other than being too large for the space where I use it, it is a good buy.

We bought this unit for a bachelor suite that does not have a lot of counterspace. I was surprised at how much heat it throws, which is a slight concern on a normal countertop which is beside a fridge. So that's a warning - it obviously shouldn't be too close to things that can burn or melt, and if you need it there, ensure that you put up some barriers (tempered glass or a heat shield).Other than that - the unit works perfect. No problems so far!
