A small amount spread on a clean surface restores the original black color. I have applied it twice a month, and it's doing quite well. My jeep fender flares were in very bad condition, and the weather where I live is extremely hot and humid. Probably will repeat applying the solution every month to keep them always in perfect look.

He probado una variedad de productos que prometen regresarle lo negro a lo negro, pero solo tenían un beneficio espurio y al poco tiempo había que reaplicar los. Este producto es diferente. Una pequeña cantidad rinde para mucha cobertura. Lo use en mi Tacoma y no solo en los plásticos descoloridos, sino que me gusto tanto el resultado que también lo aplique a areas de pintura negra como el porta equipaje en el techo, la caja de herramientas en el caja y todo quedo realmente como nuevo y sin brillo artificial. A varios meses de haberlo aplicado, y bajo el sol implacable y lluvia de Cancun todo lo negro sigue perfecto. Me encanto! Lo único que no calcule bien fue el tamaño de producto que compre. De haber sabido cuanta superficie se cubre con poquito producto hubiera pedido una botella mas chica. Pedi la grande y creo que nunca me la voy a acabar a menos que me empiece a dedicar a detallar autos como trabajo. Excelente producto

I just received this product and applied it to the roof rails of my Subaru Outback. The rails were beginning to show signs of deterioration but more so white residue from previous wax jobs which with certain waxes is a problem on textured black plastic trim. After applying this stuff which spreads very easily and requires very little of the product it appeared black as black can be. A little buff job after it dried and it looks as new again, just what I was wishing for. So the true test will be the longevity which I cannot answer yet. I think I will apply a sealant on it now to try and preserve that rich black. The product itself is very black, best described similar to ink or dye but a little bit thicker. It is slow drying as it absorbs deeply into the surface. So if you get some on the paint which in my case is white, wipe it off clean quickly as possible. I think if is left to dry on paint it may well stain it permanently. One final word of advise, wear latex gloves because it does not wash off hands very easily. Update: So it has been nearly a year since applying this product. The rails that were treated are still very black and appear new. The white wax residue did not re-appear. A terrific product, if you want to return black to black to look like new and cover wax residue, this will do it. Remember, this stuff stretches a long way in that it requires very little product.
