DuralexLys clear stackable bowl 12 cm (4 3/4" -10 7/8 oz - 31 cl), pack of 6

I spent days searching for glass bowls that were a certain size to fit inside of a glass "pedestal" to hold food for my cats. The "pedestals" are actually glasses from the Dollar store shaped for margaritas. I didn't want my cats to have to eat out of plastic bowls that retain both germs and odors. The raised pedestals were my idea to make it easier for them to eat. Now, there is the ease of the angle of their throat and also for the future when they are older and have arthritis to not have to bend in such a way just to eat. However, I didn't want to be washing the glasses after every wet food meal. These little bowls are the perfect size! They are easily cleaned in the dishwasher. I am so happy to have found them.

these are normally excellent, sturdy bowls -- but they're not packed right. they need little cardboard squares or something between them in the stack, because they *always* arrive with long glass shards and at least one bowl chipped along the edges. if they'd just pack them better, they'd be perfect. I returned one order because of the chip, and got a second order with the same problem -- and the glass cut me the second time. be very careful when opening these.I was tired of dealing with returns (for some reason, to return these, you HAVE to chat with customer service), so I just kept the last order and discarded the chipped bowl. but it's disappointing. the only reason they chip is because they are all the same hardness and they're packed with NO cushioning between them. it's Duralex's issue, I think, not Amazon's. ah well. otherwise these are the gold standard in small glass food prep bowls and my cats like eating out of them, too!

The only regret in purchasing these stackable, beautiful glass bowls, was that I didn't buy enough of them. Just yesterday, my wife exclaimed, "Where are all the glass bowls?" as they were all in the dishwasher waiting to be washed. After purchasing these, and their larger sized cousins, it appears that my family has taken such a liking to them that clean ones are hardly ever available.As we are pretty serious about cooking good food in our household with proper tools, these bowls being one of them, we use them both for food prep and service.The French have a way with glass cookware that continues to amaze - the stackable feature, which at first seems trivial, has you wondering after a few weeks of use how you ever lived without it.I should have bought at least 12 of each size.

These are nice little bowls and while I didn't expect them to be unbreakable, I didn't expect them to shatter and have sharp shards. Usually, it takes me years to break a set of bowls. I've only had these a few days and of course, I've dropped one already. I bought these because I have a new puppy that's into everything and had hoped when I broke one, it would hold together like tempered glass.While the big chunks did pretty well and didn't have sharp edges, it still exploded everywhere when it hit the floor and has left many tiny, very sharp pieces (sharp enough to embed into the sole of my shoe). Sweep, vacuum, sweep, vacuum has retrieved much but I'm still not confident I got them all. I will have to take another run at it and then mop thoroughly too...Keeping my fingers crossed I get them all... I'd hoped for better for the price. Also, they are a little bit smaller than I imagined. They are pretty shallow bowls - about right for a single scoop of ice cream.

I have used these in various sizes for years. This order arrived timely, well-packaged, and intact. The labels on the bottom peeled off easily.

The bowls look perfect. I’m Intending to use them for cat food bowls. I picked them because they’re shallow and I think the height and width will do really well.They didn’t come in a sealed package but rather individually packed in paper. That’s fine by me, but perhaps the lack of factory sealed packaging would put someone off They were packed well.I added photo for scale. I had a hard time visualizing their size.

I love these little bowls. They are sturdy. I heat up 1/2 cup canned dog food in the microwave twice a day. I use them as ice cream bowls. You can even put in 3 scoops. I put green tomatoes in them to ripen near the window. I placed a 15 ounce coffee cup next to it for size comparison. I had a set for years. I needed more because I would run out of them before it was time to run the dishwasher. I highly recommend them.

I've been using these Duralex glass bowls for food prep for many years and just purchased another set of six. They're so useful and just the right size. A few have chipped over time, mostly from wild moments of loading the dishwasher. But honestly, I couldn't do without these bowls and will always buy more for back-ups. They stack well, don't take up too much space in the cupboard and are perfect when lining up the ingredients to toss in to a fast paced recipe. Kung Pao Shrimp comes to mind.

Love these bowls (I have them in all sizes), just a great design and shape.

Nice little glass dishes that I bought for preparing cooking ingredients so they'll be ok for that.I wouldn't expect them to be any good for anything else in all honesty as they are not thick nice glass and are fragile, one was totally shattered in the packaging (they were packaged really well and wrapped well in bubble wrap so I can only assume it was already broken prior to posting.... maybe gives you an impression of the sellers QA perhaps).If you are looking for a set of small quality glass bowls then pay a little extra and buy a different set, like I said they'll do me for now but I'll be binning them and buying a quality set.

6 Great bowls which were secured together and then stacked inside a bubble wrap bag.It was a good job they were because 2 in the centre of the stack were smashed to a million pieces.The bubble wrap contained the broken glass.I am very happy with them even though I only got 4.Thankyou very much.

excellant value for money I use these for my cats feeding bowls easy to clean in the dishwasher .I only have to keep buying these as I feed 2 stray cats outside and the fox keeps taking the bowls off with food in them.
