Very nice quality - don't buy the noname crap
I bought the F30 Pro - 6 Watt + 6x AA model as well as the headlight. As far as the headlight goes, I'll just say that you should be aware that it uses two AAA batteries. This is left out from the product description. I haven't really used it yet, but it seems nice. The F30 Pro is very nice. It's heavy and sturdy, and the octagonal shaped rubber parts aren't for show - they ensure that when you put it down, it doesn't roll away, and if you drop it, they act as bumpers. The LED itself is a single-LED design. I assume a high quality part, as this is a brand name with 7 years of warranty. It's very bright one the high level. The dim level is significantly less bright, I'd say perhaps a quarter or a third brightness compared to the high mode, which is a very good decision. You either mostly want to have as much brightness as possible when trying to find something, or a comfortable more dim level of brightness when walking in a forest or rummaging in a tent. This also means a much longer running time when on dim. The beam has a quite focused and very bright center, surrounded by a wider and more dim brim around it.There's no manual for any of these, and you have to brain a bit to figure out how to get to the battery compartment, and one important detail is mentioned on the back in tiny tiny letters. You can run this flashlight on just three AA batteries if you only fill the bottom half of the battery compartment. It'll shine just as brightly, but cut the operating time in half. This is very nice - especially if you don't use the flashlight very often and/or if you're using rechargeable batteries, and thus expect more battery drain due to time in storage than actual usage. Also, it's water proof, which is great.I'd highly recommend that anyone searching for flashlights focusing on lumen numbers stop and go with an honest known brand like these Varta lights. The lumen claims from noname brands are mostly lies, and they're much more likely to use poor quality LEDs and then overdrive them for brightness. They'll die quickly, but not quickly enough for you to leave a bad review. I have two cheap noname lights now e-waste. They died so quickly, and they suck. Granted, they were cheaper than these Vartas, but cheap and dead in months is actually expensive when compared to something like this, that has 7 years of warranty, and made by a reputable brand that has a decades-old image to protect.
