Ok, where has this faux fur reading pillow been all my life? I bought this back rest pillow with shredded memory foam for those long nights of reading, journaling, or even scrolling in bed—and I’m OBSESSED. First off, the faux fur cover is so soft and luxe, it feels like I”m leaning back on a cloud wrapped in a blanket. It gives major cozy vibes and looks SO cute sitting on my bed when not in use. The shredded memory foam inside molds perfectly to my back and shoulders, giving me the support I didn’t even know I needed. I’ve noticed less back strain and more comfort, especially when I’m propped up watching TV or working on my laptops Bonus? The cover is removable and washable, so keeping it fresh is super easy. Whether you’re a late night reader, ad student that’s is glued to your laptop, or just someone who loves to be comfy (well, like who doesn’t???), this pillow is a great choice! It’s my new favorite bed buddy (aside from my hubby 😉—and trust me, you’ll want one in your room too.

UPDATE: The pillows had softened up slightly after weeks of use, but I felt them to still be a little too firm. So I followed the instructions for opening the inner bottom zipper and removing some of the memory foam stuffing. I took out about 9 small handfuls from each pillow. Now I'm giving them time to settle a bit before deciding if I need to remove more stuffing. Bonus to this is I now have foam to re-stuff some other throw pillows on the couch, which had gotten rather floppy. I ordered two of these, and they arrived very promptly. They weren't cheap, but I was pleased to find reading pillows with removable, washable covers in the color I wanted. I followed the directions for letting the pillows expand (a bit confusing, since in one place the instructions state to leave them unzipped for 24 hours; in another place it says 48). The covers themselves are gorgeously soft. However, right now, these shredded memory foam pillows are, as other reviews have stated, quite hard--yes, more than firm; hard. However, I'd far rather have a pillow which started out too hard than one that began as comfy and then morphed into a shapeless blob. I'll allow about two weeks to see if they soften up a bit. If they aren't soft enough at that point, I'll use the feature which allows one to unzip the inner pillow and remove some of the foam to make the pillow more comfortable. Actually, if I have any complaint, it's all the darned tags that are on the OUTSIDE of the cover. The manufacturer name tag, the "consumer" tag, and the washing instructions tag--three tags, all on the outside of a removable cover, all of which will now have to be cut off very carefully. What's up with that?! But, overall, pleased with these reading pillows.

I love the firmness for a back rest when I'm sitting up in bed, and the cover is soft and I like the color I chose, but the cover ripped/tore at the seams in two different places in LESS than a week!!! Seriously! I finally got in touch with Millard and they only offered a 50% refund. I took it, as it was better than nothing, but I was floored when I got that email and the girl sending it told me "I could just stich it back up myself". !!! Could not even believe what I was reading. I mentioned getting another cover instead, but then she emailed saying if I would prefer that (to the discount), they'd be happy to send me one. I took the refund, but should've been given both. So Very Disappointed that it tore/ripped is just 6 days of having it. It looks crappy sitting on my bed cause the rips are both in the front. So unless you want that kind of quality sitting around in your home, don't buy it.

My daughter loves it. She says it is comfortable and easy to take care of .
