These are really cute! I have very high arches,so I had to add my Orthoheel athletic shoe inserts, but they fit perfectly over the non-removable ones in these shoes. They have a wide toe box, which makes them look slightly clown-shoe like, but comfort trumps looks in those case, and I think they will look less so as they break in. I love the side zipper! I laced them comfortably, and now I can take out them on and take them off without having to re-lace every time. The top of the shoe and tongue are slightly padded, so they don’t rub anywhere. The heels fit snugly, so they don’t slip and my socks stay up. I just received them, so I can’t speak to durability, but they seem to be well made. I highly recommend them.

I broke my ankle and I’m a dancer. I wanted to find a supportive high top to wear when I start walking without the walking boot, that could also double as an occasional dance shoe; not heavy weighted. I don’t like laced shoes because I tend to pull my shoes off without untying. I also have wide feet and buying shoes is difficult. I ordered these in 8.5 (my usual size is 8w) so I ordered these a half size larger, but also followed the size chart. I ordered 2 others brands at the same time, but they were both too small and had to be returned. These fit perfectly! They are cute, easy to put on and get off. I have only worn them around the house, because I’m still in a walking boot for outside, but they are very comfortable, supportive and not so heavy that I feel like I’m stomping around. I’ll provide an update after I’m truly walking again.Part 2. I went to a party last night and exchanged the walking boot for these. I was able to get around easily and they were comfortable and supportive of my bad ankle. I’ve seen comments about the slick sole and the main reason I bought these is they came up as high top dance sneakers, so being able to turn on the dance floor is important to me. I was able to dance a bit last night, so I’m really happy with these!

these shoes are so cute and so perfect. i have wide feet and these shoes fit just right, and are so comfortable. will be buying other colors as well. i love them so much!

I love these shoes, I love the look, the wider fit, they aren't too hot, have the perfect completely flat insole, the life saving zipper, comfortable the second I put them on, but the only thing keeping me from falling on my face in places with a shiny floor is the narrow vulcanized rubber logo on the sole, which doesn't have very much surface area. I had to gorilla glue grips on mine.8 month update:I thought the shoes didn't need breaking in, and they didn't to walk comfortably, but after a few months the canvas (blessedly) molded to the top of my foot/ankle. The tops used to be completely flat with a 90 degree angle at the high top part, but the added height and slope after breaking it in makes the shoes look waaay more proportionate and flattering, much more like the pictures. I never worry about my what pants I have to wear anymore (so my feet don't make me look like I drive a clown car if you stare at em too hard).I will say the grips I added didn't last long to keep me from slipping on polished floors, so I'm still figuring that out.Original:Other than that, the only thing that isn't absolutely perfect is the height of the fabric on the shoe. The rubber sides on the toe can give the illusion of a smaller foot but the short high top to shoe ratio can make your feet look huge, so the kind of pants you wear matter if you care about making the right aesthetic.

I have weak ankles and I also frequently fall as an elderly person with stability issues. The soles are thick enough to be comfortable but thin enough that I can feel changes or imperfections on the ground. The front of the shoes are slightly wider like the natural shape of my feet. That feature is usually only available in much more expensive shoes. Once I was able to get the shoelaces at the best fit for me, it is easy to take them on and off even though the zipper is a little awkward on the outside of the shoe. Most. shoes have the zipper on the inside of the ankle area where it is easier to reach. I’m using these as my inside shoes but I’ll buy another pair for my outside shoes, so of course, I can recommend them to others for purchase. The value per quality is excellent

Cute! And a good alternative to the dorky barefoot shoes on the market. Great roomy toe box!!

** second update! I’ve revised my opinion on their customer service. Contacted the company and not only did they replace the shoes, they let me choose a different color than I had. Received the new pair and they are definitely made with a better material**Update to review. They tore even more! AND the zipper snapped off. I contacted the company and they didn’t respond. So poor quality meets poor customer service.I really like these as far as comfort goes. They have a zipper and the toe end is similar to those barefoot shoes so my feet are verrry comfortable in them all day.Quality sole but not quality fabric or stitching unfortunately. I’ve had them 3 months and the seam that meets the toe is tearing. I’ll probably have to take some shoe glue to them since I can’t return them, and they really are comfortable. I had originally gotten a different color and I noticed they had differing fabrics, shame. If these had a sturdier fabric I’d 5-star them

These are cute but not the most comfortable shoes. They are very wide at the toe. There is little to no cushion.

Love these sneakers wish they had half sizes they are a tad big but I still love them

These sneakers are so cute and comfortable. Fit is perfect, I take a size 7. Side zipper so no need to fiddle with laces. These are true high tops, very comfortable around the ankle as well. You won't be disappointed. Love them!

These fit really well.Nice inside cushioning.If it is ever offered in black I would definitely get another pair.
