had one needed another
It's just great not having to dig for cooking utensils. Now that I have two of these I've hung up just about everything I use when I cook.

Works For Me!
Received 2 of these about a week ago. After downsizing to a much smaller house I faced the age-old problem of cramming 10 pounds of potatoes into a 5 pound sack. Even after donating a ton of stuff I still have numerous kitchen items that I can't bring myself to part with. My tiny kitchen with severely limited storage was giving me fits. This little rack isn't a panacea but it has allowed me to organize my favorite cooking utensils where they are handy instead of trying to dig them out of a crowded drawer. I've overloaded my racks with lightweight plastic as well as metal utensils, potholders and hand towels. Even though I have doubled and tripled the number of items on each hook, the racks have not slipped 1 millimeter. These racks firmly adhere to both my 2008 textured Whirlpool fridge and my 2009 over-the-stove Hotpoint microwave oven. I mention the age and brand of my appliances because a number of people have reported problems with weak magnets and slippage. I don't think the problem is with the textured coating but rather the structural material under the coating. Magnetic performance might be related to the age and composition of the appliance or the make and model. I presume that some fridges have more metal or less insulation than others. I tested my appliances with rare earth magnets before I purchased this product. They are inexpensive, sold by Amazon and accurately predicted the magnetic sensitivity of my appliances. I've been using them to attach my kitchen knives to my fridge for a couple of years and they work great!I absolutely adore these racks and plan to buy a few more. I want to hang a couple on the side of my stove. They are space saving, attractive, low-profile storage for spatulas, whisks, large spoons, kitchen shears, hand towels, cheese graters and just about anything else fairly lightweight that can hang on a hook.(I wouldn't try to hang my cast iron on them!) The little 'ball stops' on the ends of the hooks aren't very large so most anything with a hole in it will fit. A terrific organizational tool particularly when space is limited.

I've fallen and I can't get up!
OMG! What a joke! I've never given a one-star review before, but, as they say, "there's a first for everything."We got a new stove hood and the old magnets we had no longer matched so we decided to see if we could find some stainless steel magnets. We ordered two sets, one for either side of the hood. Within minutes of attaching them, they both started to slide. At first I thought, "Hmm. Maybe I didn't put them on straight" and straightened them and walked away; only to watch as they both started to sag again."Well, third time's a charm," I say to myself and push them up again, only to stand there and watch as they gently glide down the side of the hood yet again. I would think maybe something was wrong with our hood but the magnet bar I had previously - from a different manufacturer - was working like a charm. So, I might add was the one we got from the dollar store a few years ago.You might think I'm hanging led weights on the magnets. Alas, you'd be wrong. As you can see in the image, they're standard utensils. On the side you don't see clearly, they're non-metal making them even lighter. That too shows me that these are poorly made because both sets, not one, but both, are doing the same thing. For twice the price of the other set I had, I'm getting 1/2 the "stickiness." They're going back and I'm reverting to the ones that don't match but at least do what magnets do.

Very useful, but a small problem to watch out for.
Initially we had a problem with ours not staying in place. We hang potholders and oven mitts on ours, and about once a day we would find one side sliding down the side of the fridge and it would have to be straightened. Then we noticed that the lower cross-bar has two little "L" shaped ends with rubber feet on the end, and that one of these was bent so that it didn't make contact with the surface of the fridge. I was able to give it a little additional bend by hand, and that fixed the problem. Apparently that little rubber foot acts as a "brake" to keep the magnet from slipping and is way more important than it looks. The magnets themselves are quite strong, and there's little worry of them coming loose. Another tip (and for the companion 2409 towel bar). If you're trying to affix these to the front of a fridge with a curved door like ours has, bend the whole thing a bit until the magnets sit flat against the curved surface. If you do that, it will stay in place just fine. Only a slight bend is required, and again, it can likely be done easily by hand.

Strong, Functional and NO scratch damage
Magnets are very strong for my needs! This Magnet Rack has a plastic cover inserted over the magnet on the back & a protective coating on the back edge so it will not scratch up your refrigerator/ metal surfaces (see my photos). I use this magnetic rack on my metal rolling IKEA cart for my Norwex demos & on my SS whirlpool refrigerator at home to hang my damp/dry my Norwex microfiber kitchen cloths. Bed, Bath & Beyond retail store used to sell these but they no longer carry them. Amazon was the only place I have been able to find this particular kind of magnetic 'rack' with a functional design. It was shipped out fast & in its original packaging, so Kudos to the seller! I have hung heavier items on it like dusting wands & rubber brushes but I have not exceeded over 5 pounds. I wouldn't recommend hanging heavier items like SS utensils, hammers, tools. I have had a lot of compliments and questions as to where I have purchased them so I may buy another one if needed or as a gift to someone else. I think these would also be great in a bathroom for multiple uses for hand towels and face cloths & even in the laundry room. I have seen these advertised as high as $20. The product seems mid-range price to me. I would not pay more than $15 including shipping.

Super strong magnets and overall superior quality to other products
Large powerful magnets which will support a lot of weight. The hooks are thinner than appear in the photos but are still adequate for hanging most items . Quality product and far superior to the smaller magnet plastic hooks that are not good for much except to support feather weight items. I bought it to use on our BBQ grill to hang utensils and oven mitts but will support much more weight if need be.Worth the money.

Holds utensils securely with style!
I had been looking for a replacement magnetic utensil hanger for some time and am thrilled with this one! Holds a bunch of them securely and looks great on the side of my fridge. Don't know why every store doesn't sell magnetic hangers!

Good looking, but not strong enough on its own.
Attractive addition to kitchen for hanging barbecue utensils. I did have to purchase small, stainless steel stick-on magnetic discs to stop it from sliding.

Good but not great
Can only hold so much weight, if too much is put on it will slide down
