Frigidaire 316531953 Glass Cooktop Range/Stove/Oven

The glass top perfectly fits my Kenmore model 970-68613B, which is not produced by the manufacturer anymore.

It was pretty simple. I watched the YouTube video and took the broken one off. I did lose a screw but it just fell through to the floor. I had a hard time with the front screws because they were stripped. All in all a great way to save some money on replacing your glass cooktop.

I cannot express how satisfied I am with this product!! I was really afraid it was not going to fit, as I could not find my model number but the measurements were the same so I took the risk. It fit perfectly and it didn't take more than 30 minutes to take the old one off and put the new one on. I added photo's of my old cracked one and the new one. It looks like a brand new stove and I couldn't be happier!!

I was really disappointed to find that there was damage to the front right corner of the cooktop's metal border. The box and packaging used for shipping was in good condition, so it is clear that damage exists before it was packaged. I would have returned the item, but I couldn't be without a working kitchen stove.The installation was additionally made difficult due to 3 of the 5 holes of the front metal strip that connects the top to the stove not lining up. To get it installed I made 3 new holes in the metal strip.
