Not sheer, good plastic weight. I put them in a plague doctor's mask. They squeezed into my temple. Have to watch the placement if you insert them into card stock.2 sets of glass. Clear and sunglass tinted. Be careful if you open and a rubber seal jumps out. You need those to hold the glass tight in the frame.

Pros: unique, quirky and fun made for a great holtzmann goggle in a pinch for time.Con: plastic. Edges are a bit sharp and uncomfortable even when only worn on head looselyOverall they did the job, and side note, they are dark green, everything looks green when worn. I bought these for a costume, and while I love them, I wish the lenses were a little lighter so that you could actually wear them on your eyes. The only way to do that would be outside and I don't think they have any UV protection, so what's the point? I am not one of those people who JUST wears goggles on their head because I'm #steampunk. I was looking for yellow lenses, but this is what I could find at the time that I could get with Prime shipping.

Great goggles for the price, got them just in time to complete my costume. Only issue is that these lenses are as dark as actual welding goggles so you can't really see out of them when you wear them on your face unless you are in a very brightly lit area, and they are not goggles I would actually trust to protect me while actually welding... But they look good on your head.

Bought these for my husband's steampunk Halloween costume. These are actually very nice. The lenses unscrew so that you can have clear lenses instead of the dark ones if you want to actually wear them. They were sturdy and good quality. He was also able to attach a pipe clamp thingy (technical term) to add the jeweler magnifying glasses. These are a crucial part of any steampunk inventor, and you might as well get them for this very reasonable price. I think I might buy another set for my outfit, too!

I was SO HAPPY with these goggles! Not only were they super affordable, they are exactly as described and arrived very quickly! Even though I read the reviews and they were positive I was still a bit skeptical about the quality, but my worry was immediately put to rest when I opened the box! These goggles worked great for my Halloween costume (mad scientist). Just be aware that the lenses are almost completely opaque. You will be unable to see through them. As long as you are planning on keeping these goggles on your forehead, you should be fine.
