The media could not be loaded.  This is the first wood wick candle I’ve made. Before purchasing, I read the bad reviews of these particular wicks. The #1 issue seemed to be that the wicks wouldn’t stay lit, so I did a little troubleshooting research. I learned that the type of wax one uses determines whether a single wick or a double wick is required for a proper burn. I used soy wax, therefore, I doubled the wick. A paraffin wax will only require a single wick. Beeswax requires a double wick.These particular wood wicks work well. I get a beautiful flame and even burn. I can hear a faint crackle when burning, but I recently learned that the crackle should intensify if I increase the fragrance load to 10% for more combustion.I think this was a good buy. I will update this review when I try these wicks with beeswax and increase the fragrance load to see if they can achieve a more intense crackle.

At first these wicks would not burn and would die out so originally I gave this product a one star. However after some reading on wooden wicks I realized these are way undersized for using anything other then paraffin wax. You can use for Soy or beeswax but you MUST double them up. I gave three stars as the seller is misleading the buyers in my mind. Out of all the bad reviews I will have to say it is user error. I started with one wick and would not burn. Two wicks and it burns great in a 3" jar with Soy wax but again must use two wicks.

I'm so disappointed. I lost hundreds of dollars in candle containers, wax and fragrance because of these horrible wicks!!!!! Do not buy!! I should have tested these more before using them in multiple candles. I used them in soy 444 wax container candles. The wicks will barely burn and they do not burn hot enough to cause a full melt pull even after a few hours. The photo I shared is after burning for two full hours. The flame didn't get big enough to actually melt the wax. The wicks go out non stop so you have to keep the lighting. It's so disappointing because it's not cheap to make candles and I feel like I wasted a lot of money because of theses awful wicks. Also mine did not crackle at all. Don't waste your money on theses.

Pretty straightforward product. Everything came as pictured. Only issue I’m having is that when lifting the wood wick it isn’t staying burnt at all. The candles I make are going out in a few seconds.

These wicks are great. The wick trimmer alone makes this purchase worth it, as it retails over $10 on Amazon! I followed the instructions and soaked the wix before using and they worked wonderfully. I did find that doubling up the wick helped too. The wick trimmer is extremely high quality and nice enough to leave out on display. Definitely recommend!

The kit as a whole is a very good product. The scissors cut the wicks easily. I make my own candles to save money so I just made 13 candles using these wicks😣 they are thin and burn low, so if you’re using candles to light a room, even slightly, these will not do. The worst is you have to continually light the wicks, it goes out constantly. I wouldn’t have made so many candles using these if I knew this.

I run a small candle business and recently included wood wick candles in my line. I have ordered a few different ones from different companies an these were by far the best an my customers love them. They stay lit very well an have the expected crackling sound. The scent throw is also awesome and the added wick trimmer definitely made it well worth the purchase. You can definitely tell the difference in quality from others I have tried.
