Gods & Goddess’s
I’d like to study more in this area. Loved the variety of information from symbolism to various rituals. I have a long journey ahead of me. Living in the United States as a descendant of Native Americans & Africans [I left out the other genealogy line on purpose although I do believe my distant great Irish born grandmother loved her Cherokee born son; she died shortly after birth I’m told)I believe there are lots of truth to be uncovered). I do believe the part in the Bible were it says seek and you shall find. However my faith is a lot broader then the truths and perhaps untruths in America’s biggest book seller.

too self-centered
This book is really self-cenrered: the autor rambles on too mich about her own (or coven member's) experiences with the deities, but gives little factual information about them and how they got worshipped in ancient times. The experiences thenselves were in my opinion not even that impressive. There is a really weird part in this book where the autor says Thoth appeared to a member wearing mirror shades. I'm sorry, what??The Wicca viewpoint irritated me too. There's nothing wrong with Wicca, but the ancient view towards these gods gets a bit disrupted by this. The autor describes hee view about Ammit and reincarnation, but that didn't really resonate with me because the egyptians didn't believe in reincarnation. Then the magic part, because there was too little of it in this book.I was really looking forward to receive this book, but I'm just going to return it.
