Reading a last title of a serie generally brings a lot of anxiety as how the author will sew all the open points of the narrative, but Robin and Elle made it brilliantly. Political plots, secrets, war, and murders, not letting aside romance, permeates this great book

I enjoyed the character development in this series but not nearly as engaging as the Obsidian Throne series. I will read your other books because I enjoyed getting into your stories I've rean so far. Appreciate the writing and people within!

4.5 starsWOW! I am incredibly impressed at the amount of detail these authors have wrapped up in this final conclusion. What an explosion of emotions!From the opening chapter, I knew it would be explosive, but I was woefully unprepared. As the series has progressed, it has increasingly become more in depth, pull-at-your-heartstrings kind of story. Autumn's Reign is like the peak of Charlie's overall journey.It was stunning.It was amazing.It was everything I had hoped for.Though I admit that because of the punchy opening, I did feel the first half was a little slow. Not that I think it was in hindsight, but because I was expecting almost immediate action in the first quarter. It didn't quite unfold like that, but it's slow building and think it was actually really good for the story considering how I was in the last act.It was SO vivid!! There is only one other book that I experienced just as vividly as this one where I was no longer in my home, but in the case, in a crowd of soldiers and villagers, watching/hearing Charlie speak. It was AMAZING! Gives me goosebumps just remembering it because it was top Lord of the Rings kind of action, inspiration, and battle cry worthy.Truly, I am blown away by the powerful ending of this series. It was everything I had wanted and needed.I EAGERLY anticipate what these authors will share with us readers next. This story shows they are incredible storytellers who can transform characters into ones we won't forget, who have you cheering, and smiling with tears.Highly recommend this series!

I was hooked into this series from the first pages through all four books and didn’t want it to end. The characters and relationships were so vivid and well written. I was wrung out by the end but still wanting more.It had been a minute since I finished The Lochlann Feuds and The Lochlann Deception series, so much so I didn’t remember who Logan and Oli were right away, let alone Charlotte and Fia and Davin and so many other important characters in those other future series!!So now I have to go back and reread them - understanding the immense suffering, sacrifice and loss these characters went through to be with the ones they loved and battle many brutalities for the chance to build a new kingdom for their people and especially their children who will be the main characters of the Lochlann Feuds and Deception series.
