If you are lucky ducky and you don't have fluoride in your water, this is a great filter! We bought it and I installed it in about 15 minutes. It's that easy. I didn't have to wait for a week for my hubby to do it or even call a plumber. What more can you ask for??... If you want more, here you go:1. The water tastes good, which is NICE2. It's not that nasty charcoal filter stuff, which makes me break out in hives3. It doesn't take out all the minerals, so you don't deplete your body4. It does NOT remove all of the chlorine ...... so, I fill an open-tip pitcher and let it sit out for about 12 hours. Chlorine off-gases and "poof" you have clean, good-tasting water. You might want to do a few calculations of your own to figure out how much chlorine off-gasses over how much time. I'm not an engineer, my husband is - so don't ask me.5. This does not remove fluorideYou will need one of those fancy, complicated 7-8 stage filters for that. Sorry.6. No second filtration faucet is needed(So I will have to figure out what to do with the one I bought)7. You will have to buy a new cartridge (which is basically a whole new unit) every 6 months or so - which is kind of a bummer but not a big deal.For a little more than basic filtration without much fuss, this is the answer!

This is my 2 times buying this product. I have used the first one for 2 years before I replaced it.

This came with everything I needed (minus the tools) to install this. Everything went together fairly easily but be aware because this can make a real mess. Everything seemed good quality but just remember what happens if something ends up leaking. OK, that being said......The water looked funny for the first few gallons. It looked cloudy but if you looked closer it was just millions of tiny air bubbles that would slowly settle out a bit. I attributed to this being new and needing to get fully saturated. Sure enough, after about 5 or 6 gallons it was already noticeably clearer. By the next day it was coming out crystal clear. There were also some odd noises until it got fully saturated as well but this too quickly lessened and went away. The flow is surprisingly good, more on that in a minute. I didn't use the mounting screws. I thought it might move but as you can see in the picture it just sits there nice.The taste and smell are markedly better. You can easily and immediately tell the difference in a side by side from a different facet in the house. The chlorine smell (my municipality uses chloramine) is now gone and the taste is clearly better. Now on to flow. I use this bathroom faucet to fill 8-12 gallon jugs with water a couple of times per week to water my indoor....gardens. Yes gardens...probably tomatoes or something. Anyway, I have no patience so I really needed to make sure there was no flow restrictions or I would have been filling for tens of minutes. Ain't nobody got time for that. This thing fills them up nice and fast while filtering out some of the yukkies for my face and my plants.I installed right around May 1st, 2020 so I will report back when I start noticing any restrictions from being clogged.

First time ever buying a water filter to use in a NYC apartment. I was surprised that every thing i needed was included in the package. I did not need to leave my home to buy anything additional for the installation. I was able to easily install the water filter and ran it for a few minutes after installing it. To my surprise the water flow/pressure was very good for the first week. However, the water pressure has gone down since then. A total of 4 starts as the water pressure did go down just after a week. Despite this, the water at my apartment comes out clean and taste good.

I put this in after a commercial filter under my sink. Made a world of difference.We have crazy amount of chlorimide. So much so my reverse osmosis couldn't get rid of it all (thanks Virginia). Put this bad boy after the fact and BAM! DRINKABLE water.This is the real deal. Works well.
