My department has one classroom that has a whiteboard that should never have been installed as a whiteboard. I don't know what material it's made out of, but it's not the same as any other whiteboard. And it's very hard to erase. Forget erasers; we have to spend the class breaks spraying liberally with the cleaning fluids and scrubbing like crazy with paper towels. It's been a serious hindrance to teaching.I read that the low-odor markers were harder to erase, so I tried ordering these original formula markers. They work much, much, much, much better. I tried them out with a colleague, and her eyes bulged open as she saw me actually succeed in erasing the marker! I also like the bullet tips.My only problem is that I put a full box of markers in the room two weeks ago, and three of them have already walked off. That's a much faster loss rate than usual! It looks like I'll need to keep a set in my briefcase, and order a few extra boxes for my colleagues' sake. I don't want anyone using any other markers in that room.

These markers are awful!!!! Bought myself the 4-marker pack. I'm a nurse and don't write much with them, yet these managed to dry up in less than a month.

The black marker was dried out.
