What a beautiful Bible this is! It shouts high quality as soon as you remove it from the box. Premium goatskin leather provides a very soft, flexible cover that feels great to the touch. The paper is called “European paper”; I am not sure what that means, but to me the paper is that crispy Bible paper, which is so nice to turn. The print is clear, legible and easy on the eyes. It comes in a nice presentation box, which I use to keep my Bible protected when it’s on my bookshelf.This is the second edition of the John MacArthur (New American Standard) Study Bible, having been released only last month (June 2020). The number of study notes that this Bible has is phenomenal; almost every verse on each page has some comment or other. I can see that a huge amount of work has gone into producing this study Bible.John MacArthur is, in my opinion, a remarkable Bible teacher. He’s not one of these “name it, claim it” prosperity gospel teachers, which is a real bonus for me. He gives sound Biblical answers to many questions – much like that other great teacher, Justin Peters.If you are lucky for a high, premium quality NASB study Bible, with study notes from a reliable teacher of the Bible, then this is the Bible for you. Pricey yes. But once you see what you are getting for your money, like me, I am certain you’ll be absolutely glad that you paid the extra for this remarkable study Bible.

Nice Bible. Expensive but quality. Some very thorough helps with your bible study but caution it's full of Mcaurthur's theology and brand of 16th century protestantism. Check out his ideas on salvation and works etc with the historic faith and the church fathers. But all in all I'm happy to have in the collection and will happily use often, please God.

I was looking for a bible I could study with and this one has everything I need and with a nice leather binding. Can’t wait to get started now.
