Hugo and the Impossible Thing Hardcover – Picture Book, March 30, 2021

This is a wonderful story for many reasons.For kids, teachers can use it to teach lessons in both Character Education and Social-Emotional Learning (SEL). Themes of determination, perseverance and Teamwork plus Growth Mindset are what the story shares by this dog’s adventure.But it can also be an excellent book for adults as well. In some ways I believe that is the beat way to use this book as it is a sophisticated story about the power of teamwork. The power of a team that has mutual respect for each other’s talents and expertise therefore when they come together and share what they can do, they can work “smarter not harder” and accomplish great things Together! At a school that is how Professional Learning Communities function best. This book would be great in sharing that message.The artwork is gorgeous and topics deeper than one would expect!

Wonderful story and pictures. I’ve bought several for birthday presents. My two-year-old granddaughter loves looking at the pictures and hearing all about Hugo

My daughter loves dogs, and wants any dog books and this is a good one!

I bought this book to read to my (almost) 4 year old great niece. There are some things that she is fearless about, but she always says, “I’m scared of ...”. I thought she would enjoy hearing this story about Hugo. I was right!! She absolutely loves it!! We have read it over and over again.

Hugo is an amazing little dog who's curiosity and determination inspired all his animal friends in the forest. Hugo encouraged his friends to see what they thought was an impossible task,, possible, and by helping each other and working together they were able to experience something new and beautiful.The story and the illustrations are adorable! Loved it so much and will be reading it to my grandson over and over!

This book is just the cutest thing ever, and very well written. Easy to read, so well illustrated. Everyone who comes to the house LOVES reading the book, kids AND adults! It is just a joy.

This story shows how animals/people, working together for a common goal, can achieve it. I also loved the illustrations.

My granddaughter loves this book. It’s a triumphant tale of overcoming adversity with the help of friends. Great message. Beautiful illustrations.
