I have iron in my water and must change the water filter every two weeks. I like these sediment filters and they are what's right for me. Keeps my water clear.

Only 4 filters!
Odd, but I only received 4 filters. It’s like someone took 2 out of the package before it was mailed to me. The outer wrapper clearly states 6 filters. Very disappointed.

Does the job!
We use these filters at our summer lake residence. They are attached to the pump for lake water which goes through our water lines for the shower, lavatory and toilet. Excellent at removing sediment.

Short life span
I was accustomed to a life span of 6 months plus for 5 micron string wound filters (RS5-SS). These 10 micron Culligan CW-F clogged up within 3 weeks with rust, etc. (The 'soluble' iron is not noticeable in the water, but it certainly accumulates on the filter as the red-brown form.) I do not think the city water supply has changed much, so I will not be buying these filters again.
