Save yourself some headaches and use what IT centers prefer... there're zero customer returns with this brand for a reason
These new Intel TLC drives with 3rd party chips and updated/exclusive controllers are great. The Aconis migration software available online and keyed for Intel SSD's operates flawlessly in preboot mode. It copies every hidden partion unlike some competitors. No issues with getting this unit up and running. Unlike other SSD's touting unattainable speed numbers in the real world (who really cares if the unit dies) or using flaky overclocked controllers and cheap memory chips from who knows where (unit corruptions and lack of manufacture support - see Kingston/SanDisk), or units crashing within 3 months or now 2 years later (looking at you Samsung). I didn't want to venture down that road with my data and neither should anyone for that matter.

Not a new drive
This drive arrived in a static bag that was not sealed, and an "OK" sticker on it. You can see that the metal outside was not clean and the connector had clear signs of being inserted multiple times.

Replaced the HDD on my 8-year-old PC and it gave the PC new life. It was previously taking about 5 minutes to load design software; now it loads within 20 seconds. Saved my company from spending another grand on a new PC.

Decent if under $75, otherwise...not so much. Initial tests OK, 4K are not good at all. Only keeping for reliability reasons.
Decent(ish) although if at the same cost as an 850 Evo, not worth it. I picked up this SSD at MicroCenter for $68 with tax, making it a hell of a deal for an Intel product. At that price point it was well worth it. However, comparing it to an 850 Evo, if they're both at the price point, this drive simply cannot stack up. While initial Read and Write speeds are adequate, the 4K benchmarks prove to be a major letdown on the drive. Note that I'm using this in a SATA 3 port on a fresh Windows install, no AV running, drive was Intel optimized, and just updated to the latest firmware as of 8/14/2016. Also have no other background apps running to interfere and ran the test twice.

Dead on arrival
Drive is DOA. It doesn't show up and I get nothing but SATA errors when it's connected with multiple systems and cables.

New life for an old computer.
Great deal. I have purchased about 5 of these for retrofitting older laptops and computers. They are great.

Sequential Read (Q= 32,T= 1) : 558.227 MB/s Sequential Write (Q= 32,T= 1) : 449.484 MB/s Random Read 4KiB (Q= 32,T= 1) : 312.083 MB/s [ 76192.1 IOPS] Random Write 4KiB (Q= 32,T= 1) : 330.528 MB/s [ 80695.3 IOPS] Sequential Read (T= 1) : 516.790 MB/s Sequential Write (T= 1) : 406.908 MB/s Random Read 4KiB (Q= 1,T= 1) : 34.103 MB/s [ 8325.9 IOPS] Random Write 4KiB (Q= 1,T= 1) : 129.351 MB/s [ 31579.8 IOPS] Test : 500 MiB [C: 37.8% (84.2/222.9 GiB)] (x1) [Interval=5 sec] Date : 2016/06/04 22:43:28 OS : Windows 10 [10.0 Build 10586] (x64) 構成は マザー ASUS Z-170K CPU 6700k メモリ TEAM製 16GB 2400MHz グラボ(関係ない?)
