Polaris New OEM, Hardened Steel Quick Release K-Plow Skid Shoes, 2205071 2208864

These are the same that came on my plow new. I've used them 2 years so far and they are holding up well. Last year I plowed a lot, we had snow about once or twice a week, 42 inches total. I got these as a back up in case they need replacing. They're easy to adjust, if you need the plow higher or lower to the ground. Going from blacktop to gravel or grassy areas. You can just raise the plow, but if you lower the shoes, there's no guess work in the height of the blade.

After the first one wore off in about 2 years of use it seemed like the replacements were wearing out quicker. After purchasing these they are thicker than ones bought from a dealer and fit was perfect. Would highly recommend these over the lighter duty OEM.

Huge variability in quality control. This is my 3rd purchase; first two lasted about 3-4 hours of plowing. Got these today and immediately noticed a difference in quality. All SKUs were listed as 2205071. First two sets were used on a Polaris 570SP with a Glacier Pro Plow. This set is obviously a heavier build and the plate seems to be more than double the thickness. In all pictures, the shoe on the right is the product delivered from this Amazon ad. I guess I finally got lucky this time!

This will be my third set since 2018. What this really is saying, is these need to be replaced every year. My first year of owning these I didn't do a lot of plowing, the last three years, I have plowed out every Wisconsin Snow Storm we have had. This work, they fit perfect, and could get five stars if they lasted longer. They say that they are hardened, and saying that I would expect them to last more than one winter season. I don't think I am going to find anything else to last longer, so these are what I will keep buying.

I was impressed by the material thickness of the skid shoe. It fit the Polaris plow mounting points perfectly. The actual skid shoe thickness seemed superior to the item that came with the original Polaris plow. Thanks for an improved product.

Replacement was better than original from Polaris. Cotter pins were stronger, and the skid-plate is twice as thick (longer lasting). Would say I will purchase again in the future - but I won't need to!
