Third Chances (Men of Manhattan) Paperback – July 26, 2016

Every time I read one of Ivy Smoak's books I know I'm in for a great read. I always wondered what Rob's story would entail and couldn't wait to find out who the lucky girl would be to get all of that particular Hunter brother. I love all these characters and I think it's awesome that the author puts these books together and you get to experience everyone and feel like you know each and every one of them. All of her books are intertwined and I can't wait for the last one to come out!! Keep writing Ivy and well your loyal fans will absolutely keep reading keep up the great work!!! One of my all-time favorite authors!! Every book is funny sexy and at some points intense. I absolutely devour each and every one!!!

I loved getting to know how Daphne and Rob got together. It was such a great love story. It was so good. There was a little spice to it.

Rob really liked the Brunette sitting under her usual tree reading. At the bar Rob really hoped she would walk in. Daphne and her friends were taking their friend on a bachelorette weekend. The bride Alina always wanted to go to Costa Rica so that is where they wound up at the Blue Parrott Resort. Daphne felt out of place especially when her friends decided to play a joke on her. There was a game played by single people at Resort using gold bracelets. Rob,Matt Mason and their friend James who Kristan had been stalking for awhile. The girls went with Kristan over to see if it was really James. Rob had Daphne is had to put sunscreen on him per his card. Rob was trying to get Daphne to sleep with him but he was losing the battle. Rob and Daphne spend time together at the resort and things were going well. Then things start to go south as Daphne freaks out on him. Rob was due to leave that Sunday and Daphne had a whole week with her girlfriends. Rob leaves after another freak out by Daphne this time he went back to the states. Will Daphne and Rob finally get back together or was the last fight be their last time together

The boys from he Hunted series have some serious fun planned for James' bachelor party. As they head to the Blue Parrot Resort, so do Alina, Layla, Kristen and Daphne for Alina's bachelorette party. James' little brother Rob just wants to live life and have fun. Daphne just wants to hide from the world and play it safe. When the two parties meet, it's more than Daphne can handle and everything Rob wants!The book was easy to get lost in. I love Rob. He's one of my favorite characters from the Hunted series. His quick wit, sense of humor and cockiness make him a fun albeit annoying "little brother-ish" guy.I was only familiar with one if the girls, Layla, from her role in the Hunted series so I had no back story for the other three. The reference of the ITA was lost on me and there was no explanation of how it fit into this story. But I enjoyed the girls characters just the same.The story flowed well, it was very descriptive so I felt that I was there and it was hot!Good job, Ivy! Nice addition to the series!

Rob is a great character. And he stayed true to his character. He was funny, caring and just wonderful. I enjoyed all the other characters too.

I would give this one 10 stars if I could! It's a lovely little gem! I absolutely loved Daphne and Rob's story! It's fun and funny, but tender and sweet, and genuine. It's real with the feels! Trust me, I experienced so many of them while reading this delightful book. I laughed out loud, (and got some dirty looks from others who were watching a movie!) was frustrated over indecisiveness, angry about jumping to conclusions, and moved to tears from heartache. They meet each other at a resort in Costa Rica, while there for her friend's bachelorette party, and his friend's bachelor's party. However, they had actually seen each other many times before at college, when he would be running through campus while she was sitting under a tree reading a book. There are plenty of steamy "sexcapades" and innuendo that Ivy Smoak is so fabulous at writing throughout the book. This one is too good to miss folks! Do yourself a huge favor and read it today and enjoy the HEA!!

So I’m not one that has read the entire Hunted Series....I’m pretty sure I read the 1st book a few years ago because this book tickled my memory. I’m going to have to go back & read them all. Fortunately you don’t need that background to enjoy this book. Rob & Daphne have incredible chemistry that leaps off the page. More so than her friendships with the girls. I mean, WTF, why would Kristin take them to Costa Rica??? There’s always one in a group that takes care of the others, but I didn’t feel the connection between them that I’d expect. I have recently read Mason & Layla’ stories, which helped a bit in justifying Rob’s change of heart. No truly LOL moments, but lots of little smiles at the banter, a few tears for the heartache. Thanks for the good read.

A little disturbing the exploits and frank sexual talk of a very immature rich man who finally grows up to love and care for a woman who has had a great loss. not really my kind of book. as it carried on hoped that the detailed sexual exploites would decrease. Love shown with more respect needed.
