Starbucks® Gourmet Hot Cocoa, 24 pack

I'm not surprised that Starbucks doesn't show the ingredients of this supposed "gourmet" hot cocoa. If it did, people could plainly see that there is nothing gourmet about it: it is just standard hot cocoa, at a considerably higher price. Nor can my taste buds cannot tell any difference at all between this and other less pricey hot cocoa. It doesn't taste bad, so I don't downgrade it because of that. The taste is fine, but it's nothing special. And I don't like to pay a high price for nothing more than a trendy brand name and fancy marketing.

Not as good as the Starbucks Classic Cocoa sold in tins, but that requires milk, and these packets just need hot water. I purchased this due to hearing how great starbucks is, though personally, I think it's ok. I expected a bit more from starbucks though. It's a bit better if you add a tsp of sugar. I add milk, not hot water too. As of now, my search continues. Was sent a chocolate gift basket years ago, and inside, had the best hot ch, I had ever had. It came from a small gift shop in MI, and lost the name. I would of bought stock in it, it was that good. *Sigh*

My husband picked up a couple of these at REI just to see how it tasted, but mostly because it has no artificial sweeteners. We liked it so much that we went to amazon and bought a couple of these 24 packs. It's great for when we want a quick cup of cocoa with no artificial sweeteners. After adding hot water from our Keurig, we mix and then add just a bit of milk to cool it down. Delicious.

Starbucks makes a better cocoa than Swiss Miss which is why I bought this. Add to that the fact that like a lot of people, I have insomnia. So, when I am suddenly wide awake at 2 or 3AM, I toss a cup of milk into the microwave for a minute and a half, dump in the cocoa and I'm back in bed asleep about 45 minutes later. Works like a charm!

I definitely give this item 5 stars all the way! We have tried different hot cocoa mixes and this is by far the best we have ever tasted. We keep returning to purchase more when we run out. We also give some out to family and everyone who has tasted this cocoa absolutely loves it. It would make a great Christmas gift for someone, or any occasion gift. Highly recommend!!

I'm not crazy about pre made hot cocoa drinks. When I ordered the Gourmet Hot Cocoa, 24 packets I didn't know what this product was or I wouldn't have ordered it. This is better than the average but in no way as good as the Starbuck's double chocolate packets. Best hot chocolate ever!!!

I discovered these Starbucks packets a couple of years ago and am totally sold on them. They simply are the very best of the add-water hot chocolates. As a matter of fact, I enjoy them more than any of the gourmet add-milk hot chocolates available. I am a chocolate lover from way back. If you are too, try these Starbucks packages. You won't be disappointed.

I was disappointed as I was expecting the Starbucks Hot Cocoa (double Chocolate) which does not contain milk. This is drinking chocolate and as I am dairy intolerant it is no good for me. My husband likes it however
