Durable, super easy to use, really helped my dad during and after back issues.

I ordered this on the advice of a friend who had used it after foot surgery. All of our vehicles are 4-wheel drive, so they have a large ground clearance and I am short. Even though our Jeep Grand Cherokee has side steps, they weren't going to help me get into the Jeep. I am very short, 5'2", so I needed something to help me boost my good leg, since I was having foot surgery and was not going to be able to put weight on my left foot while trying to get up into the Jeep. I was able to use this tool to give me that leverage I needed to hoist myself up just enough to grab the handle and pull myself up and in. So it was well worth the small price to give me that extra leverage. Had Jeep put a handle on the A post in the Grand Cherokee, I wouldn't have had this problem, but they don't. They just have the handle above the door. But this tool helped me get in without that. It is super strong. I put all my weight on that side when I leaned on it to pull myself up and it was solid. Super easy to carry it in the door of the Jeep. I keep it there permanently to make up for the lack of a grab handle on the A post! Oh, and I checked, Jeep doesn't even make a handle for that A post, so I would have to get some third party one. Sure wish they would fix that!

Don’t know who thought of this but it is a life saver. Ease of use is amazing. Just hook it to the car door from inside and you are safely getting into your car. I know there are many uses for this but it is a lifesaver for me. Easy entering and exiting car to get to walker

This little tool is perfect for giving support for car entry and exit! Before I got it, I was actually supporting myself on the car’s frame mounted door catch! With the addition of this handle, I am able to stabilize myself getting in and out of the car! When not in use, I leave the handle in the door tray! Works well and does not damage the car or door frame catch! A must have for cars with frameless windows. it gives support and helps prevent finger smudges on the window and body paint!

This little gadget is amazing. It is made of sturdy metal with a nice silicone grip. My driveway is very steep and getting out of my car involves acrobatic gifts at the very least. This has solved my problem more than I could have hoped. It bears all my weight and makes it so much easier to get out of the car. It also keeps the door from closing before I am all the way in too. I highly recommend this to anyone with similar issues. So worth the money.

This didn't hold still in the latch. My father in law has already been using the latch to push off of and its actually more stable than adding this tool. It may depend on the model of your car

I bought this handle to help my elderly relatives get in and out of the car. It provides much more stability than their canes, and it's easy to keep in the car. We tucked it in the console for the next outing. The red handle makes it easy to spot for the visually impaired. We bought a second one for the driver.
