Robust bar
Well made, strong and bolstered at fulcrum point with a welded fish plate. The curved end provides tremendous leverage to pry things up or out. Rectangular tubing handle design is very strong, much stronger than equal weight solid tool steel.

Unbelievable. Will never do another demo without it
My landscaping crew needed to remove a sandstone patio for re-installation. This 'Burke' copy made easy work of popping up 200+lb 2" thick sandstone 'pavers'....and not breaking a single one. I am 5'6" and the length/height was perfect. Strength to weight ratio was great, and altho the paint chipped (from sheer force) I would never do another demo without one.Cannot recommend highly enough.

Better than expected!
This tool has been a workhorse! Used it to completely gut the subfloor and it couldn’t have been smoother. It was a good value for the price and the time it saved me.

Extremely robust piece of equipment
Needed something to lift a 800 lb hot tub by myself without doing damage to the hot tub. This worked great. This should last a lifetime.

Get the hell out the way!!!! The biness end means BINESS!!!
I was looking for the original Burke Bar and came upon this Marshalltown version. I can't directly compare to a Burke Bar since I never owned one, but this thing is pretty hefty. For me it was ripping up hardwood flooring and this thing got it up real quick. I could pry up two to three rows of 2-1/4 flooring as a set and just work my way across the room. Fantastic! A bit heavy as it dwarfs pretty much any other pry bar I've ever seen, but a small price to pay for the work it does. Aside from demo, this thing would also be great for moving around large logs, felling, and landscaping tasks like large boulders or flagstone. I believe there are two versions of this tool (long, short) and I got the long one to keep from stooping down too much. Better yet, if you go on the Marshalltown website you'll find many other types of these huge pry bars. The only bad thing about this tool is the price for what it is. I could have made this thing for almost nothing out of an old truck leaf spring and some tube, but it was one of those "need it now" moments. I'm still very happy I made the purchase as it's a "git 'er done!" type of tool and turned out to be a real time (and back) saver.

Wish I found this years ago!
This thing is awesome! Moving logs from 500 to 1500 pounds up on a trailer. Needed to lift up an end to get a chain around the end. This bar lifts it so easy. Saves so much time. Also great at getting small stumps ripped out of the ground.Don't know how I lived without it. Never been so excited about a prybar. Wife tells me I'm ridiculous with it.

Nice bar, heavier than Burke but possibly higher quality.
Very beefy. Welds are a bit ugly but it's a tool, I'm not too concerned about it. Pretty heavy so be prepared for a good workout.

Amazing
At first when I saw the price tag for this I almost did not buy it. However after doing my renovations and ripping up 1300 square feet of tile and hardwood I would pay $1000 dollars for this bar!! It is amazing!! My only smallest of complaint is I wish the top of the bar would taper down a bit to be able to hang on a bit better when trying to get under tougher material like tile with a 1/4" ply sub flooring.

A must have for renovating
This bar is a super time saver. In the first week I've used it to pry apart framing lumber, lifted tile and subflooring, and generally enlisted it to gain leverage. It has paid for itself before the first job is even finished. Extremely sturdy.

Touch heavy but very functional. If you are doing demo, a must own.
I demolished my entire main floor to the studs... 1950 house with great fir studs and joists... this bar is incredibly versatile and functional. Made the window header and oak hardwood removal far easier than previous demolishes. This thing is a back saver!

Strong, sturdy, and heavy with many uses
Used this to rip up 1000 square feet of hardwood strip flooring. Ripped it out in no time with little effort. The long handle gives you the leverage that you need for challenging demos. I was dreading the thought of ripping up the floors but it was simple with this tool.

Well built tool
I moved a 10’x12’ shed 90 degrees and 30 feet with this unit. Well made strong and perfect for this job or anything you want to pry.
