I love this kit. I followed the VERY GOOD directions, planted the seed and they ALL came up 5 days early!! Even the parsley which can be slow. They are in a south facing window, the chives and dill are about an inch and a half tall; the rest are coming along at their own rates. It is very satisfying and fun to take care of them and rotate them. GREAT PRODUCT

Cups are great because it's self watering. Sprouted fast in our well lit kitchen window that we've had plants in before. First few days mold started to grow on the sticks... got rid of sticks... then the peat moss got mold. We tried to remove it. After 3 weeks they all started slowing in growth and eventually died regardless of all needs met.UPDATE:Buyer beware, if you don't have photos they act as they don't believe you. I did not ask for a refund... I just took my loss, however they did contact me about my review saying they would try to make right. But, not everyone has time to take photos of dead plants... I have empty cups I sanitized to use my own soil and own seeds next time. Their peat moss got super moldy from either the peat moss itself or the cute wooden sticks they provide. Maybe they should have actually read the review they would have known the issue instead of me explaining now 4 times: The original review, 2 times in messages and again in the review after they reached out.

I followed all the directions carefully and the plants started out great but lately look bad. I keep them watered and in sun, very disappointed to see delivery window is closed. White mold formed on 3 of them. So sad.

I was really bummed to find many items missing like soil, seeds and bamboo sticks. It was obviously a return I received that wasn’t checked properly. I’m so sad cuz I was ready to plant them today!

I was disappointed when my plants got root rot. I think putting water to the line was too much. I say fill halfway and see if that works better. All of these have failed for me, and I have many indoor plants that flourish.

We ordered this herb garden before Christmas and when it arrived it was one outer pot short. It contained 5 interior pots as well as seed, soil, and stakes, but only 4 of the outer pots. I contacted Window Garden about the shortage and will edit this review depending on the outcome of that complaint. Overall, the garden looks like it could be a good purchase...if all the parts arrive.

The design seems thoughtful and looks good -- watering is easy, and the included soil system works well. At the end of the day, though, none of my herbs grew well at all. They all struggled after promptly sprouting. I've gardened before so I'm not a total brown thumb, but it is possible this was user error.

The only thing to grow successfully in those pots was mold.

Goods arrive on time and in Good Condition
