Back on his feet and at it again!
C.T. has almost fully recovered, if only he could remove his 'flinch', he'd be right as rain!He is on his own, now his parent's foundation has withdrawn their financial support. Two very different cases, one needing a compassionate stance, the other a dogged determination.I love C.T. his quick wit in every situation and his perseverance in addressing his remaining fear in a confrontation, displayed by flinching. I found myself rooting for him and shouting 'duck' when someone took a swing at him!He teams up with Rich and the BPD to root out a killer, with action packed results!Lots of twists, intricate plot, lots of food and as always, Gloria - what more do you need?Looking forward to the next instalment of C.T.

Like this series.
I have read most of the CT Ferguson books and really like the stories, but not sure about the main character CT. He can be rather nasty at times and seems to take an instant dislike to people for no reason. He is also not very nice to his parents who have always been supportive and caring. he can be childish and boorish at times too.

“A Seriously Good Read !”
A C. T. Ferguson crime novel (book 10) but this can be read as a one off and is most enjoyable and easy to read story of a PI called CT for short or namely C.T Ferguson. On recovery from a near fatal shooting CT takes not one but two cases on; first a insurance case about a nurse possibly defrauding a hospital and a murder of a sister where the police are stumbling round not getting anywhere quickly. Based around Baltimore with CT in his new office above a workshop is asked to look into a gruesome and horrific death of Amy’s sister Suzie who is bludgeoned to death by a baseball bat. The police are having no luck in their investigations so CT takes on the case. Nothing comes easy for CT who hasn’t really got over his recent near death shooting and convalescence plus he finds out he has PTSD difficulties which in this case is a big problem as the more he investigates the more someone wants him to cease using force when necessary. CT is also a bit of a hacker detective and with his funny yet sarcastic streak chat just adds great dialog and adds to the storyline. The death of Suzie stems around two people, her boyfriend and her x-employer Fabian a plastic surgeon. As one would expect there are lots of twists and turns andThe case opens up a whole additional suspects and dangers. CT life is also going through some of life’s crises which make this book very readable and enjoyable.Tom Fowler’s writing style is easy going well thought through with some exciting action passages that have you eagerly turning the pages. Well worth reading and makes you want more!

A Twisting Murder Mystery For Our Troubled PI.
Tom Fowler delivers yet again with a top class investigation for CT Ferguson, his confident and, to quote CT himself, handsome, private investigator. Things are different for our favorite PI as he is now working for himself rather than having his parents foundation support his work. CT finds himself in some familiar territory with unfriendly suspects and ‘goons’ trying to rearrange his face as he searches for a killer. However, things are decidedly unfamiliar for him after being shot in the previous book. Physically he’s doing extremely well but he soon discovers that the body isn’t the only thing injured during trauma. Tom Fowler keeps to his usual high standards while giving CT a more vulnerable side than we’ve seen before. The author treats CT’s fragile mental state with skill and understanding as he takes his character on a trip through previously uncharted territory. I’ve enjoyed each book of this series and I enjoyed this just as much. I particularly enjoyed seeing a different side to the confident PI. Highly recommended.

Another great C T Ferguson Story
C T is a P I who is recovering from being shot and as his parents have withdrawn their financial support he is forced to take jobs he would previously have turned down, he also has psychological effects from the shooting which stop him from being as effective when he is faced with violence. The case this book revolves around is a woman who wants him to investigate the killing of her sister. As we have come to expect from C T this investigation turns out to be very complicated and gets physical at times as well, which pushes C T to his limits, and nearly beyond them. There are lots of great characters in this book, but the way that C T is described is very clever, especially in his new vulnerable state, and I also like his relationship with his girlfriend, who is herself really developing in her own right and her involvement in the troubled relationship between C T and his parents.I received an advance copy of this book, but have voluntarily written this honest review.

CT's back!
Having recovered, at least physically, from his near-death experience CT is back in harness. Unfortunately his mental health remains in need of adjustment. On top of that his parents are estranged and no longer paying hil so CT is obliged to take cases he would otherwise reject. Tasked with finding a murderer CT runs up against some nasty goons and needs to get back to normal ASAP. Will CT win through? Highly recommended.
