Filter was very effective. I didn't use it for a bidet, used it for the toilet tank. Some back history - we had a water softener "let loose" it catalyst beads into our water pipes, these things are smaller than grains of sand. 7 years later the dang things are still hiding in the lower pipes and the down stairs toilet flapper get messed up by them and then the flapper leaks. Installed this filter in line to the tank supply and it worked great for 24 hours. Then it got so plugged with those tiny beads that water would only trickle through it. It did its job! Got a 50 micron sediment strainer instead and will see how that works. For the LUXE filer, overall installation was easy and had no leaks, build quality was very good.

i live in a condo in a building built in the 60si noticed after a lot of rain there would be a lot of sediment in the toilet bowland thinking that was the same water coming through my bidet attachment was unsettlingso i searched amazon for bidet filters and found theseeven though the filters are made for a different brand of bidet, with the adapters included in the neo plus package, they fit fine with the omiga elementi ordered two, one for each toilet … one came with the box a little crushed but everything in the packaged was sealed. but one of the filter units had plastic washers, but the other didn’t?? it might have been fine without since i was using the adapters anyway but the whole point of the purchase was peace of mind, so i was glad i had the tape handy.pros- easy install (this is the first plumbing diy i have ever done myself)- if you get the plus it is compatible with other similar bidetscons- would recommend having tape handy

I installed a luxe shut off valve with this filter to make changing filters easy and possibly shutting off bidet for small children if needed. This should keep contaminant buildup out of bidet nozzles extending its life.

Flawed design. The collar is too shallow to tighten it sufficiently. These generally have to hang perpendicular to the mount. As a result there is too much leverage on the threads so it leaks at that point. It cracked and broke before I could even get it tightened down enough to stop dripping.

Update the seller is making a full refund.I gave up it was a waste of time and money since the filter does not fit. Now If I turned it against the water flow it would fit but the defeats the purpose of the filter.

Here's why you need this:If you have metal pipes of any type in your city or your house you will eventually have a small amount of corrosion or calcium buildup from those pipes. This filter keeps that particulate from finding it's way into the openings in the bidet nozzle and clogging them.Have you ever unscrewed the screen in your faucet outlet to find little chunks of stuff that clogged it? This filter will prevent that from happening to your bidet. I don't mind changing or cleaning the screens in my faucets every-so-often, but I DON'T need to be unscrewing my bidet to fool around with clearing out it's nozzles because debris from the water made it's way into it... just sayin'You need this.
