The mechanism of this contraption isn't robust enough to support the phone weight. The stand tilts at slightest provocation causing the phone to fall off. Poor product and design.

Does the job but hook attachment not very secure.
The gravity holder mechanism is very good. I had problems with my previous holder when I switched to an iPhone XR which has a screen over 6 inches. The side clamps were too tight and damaged a nice leather case. This holder is really good at holding the larger phone without damage. However the hook attachment onto the vent is poor. Not sturdy enough. I’ve swapped my old standard mount onto the new holder. By chance the fittings were identical. This holder is now rock solid and just what I wanted.

Good for some cars
Looks as though it will hold any type of phone due to its clamping action but unfortunately my grill slats are upward pointing making the holder go in the same direction. Would not be so bad but the hook on the holder does not grip my slats. Probably very good for some cars but not mine.

Sturdy and simple to use
This was an accidental order but instead of sending it back I put it in my car and now I don’t know how I coped without it. It doesn’t seem like it would be secure, especially for a max iPhone but it really has been.It wobbles a bit but it hasn’t once come off the vent and my phone has never fell out.It’s easy to fit and the phone just slots in.

Perfect, easy to fit and holds phone safely is great to be able to just drop it in and it adjusts to perfect grip.

Easy to use
Got this for my car as my phone doesn't have wireless charging, held my phone securely (Asus Zenfone 7 pro).Was pleased with the quality and performance at this price.
