Very Nice watch
Nice watch, looks better than watches twice the price. This is a nice item, from the packaging down to the real gold. There is a bit of an issue with date set. The screw down crown has three positions. You pulpit out all the way after unscrewing the crown to set the time. You push back in just a tiny bit for the second position to set the date. Finally you push all the way back in to screw down the crown for water resistance, I found the tricky part was setting the date. I read the instructions and even watched a video on the Henry Jay website. Ic couldn't find the "sweet spot" to change the date. The video indicates you can turn either direction to set the date forward or backward. I could not get it to work going forward. Mine will only set by going counter clockwise even if you only one day off. A bit of an annoyance. Others have commented on the date set and that has to be where the watch shows it's rice point.I rated it 5 stars because it looks fabulous and expensive and keeps perfect time. I have a large wrist 8,75 inches and this just fits with the band fully extended. If you have a larger wrist than mine it won't fit. You can adjust the band and remove links so fitting a smaller wrist would be no problem.I have had expensive watches in the past and really didn't see the need to continue to spend big bucks on a watch when you can just look at your phone and see the exact time of day.The illumination is a bit weak even after holding the watch directly to a light source. Bright sunlight does activate it much betterIn summary this is a great looking watch with great attention to details with a few flaws. At under $60 its a great buy

Amazing for when it works
Being a fan of the Rolex Submariner. I was very excited and enthusiastic to order and receive this watch. I reside in San Diego. Therefore I am an avid beach attendee. I love to body surf and snorkel. Therefore this watch being marketed as a professional dive watch caught my eye. What excited me even more was the water resistance rating of 330 ft / 100 Meters. Once the watch arrived in the mail I ran out almost immediately to catch it. Upon opening the box I was quite impressed. The packaging was rather nice for a $50 dollar watch. And although packaging matters a great deal to me. I needed to be certain that the watch would be working. Functionality and ease of use is my #1 thing. And sadly the way this crown system was designed put a huge dent in my rating. A watch is useless if it does not work. As I pull my new watch from the box I peer over and grab the manual. Although I am familiar with setting watches. I just wanted to double check and make sure everything I proceeded to do was in order. The instructions were a little rugged but understandable. The crown system overall seemed a little tight and extremely fragile. I tried to look past that however as the watch was only $50 dollars. Once my date and time were both set I was ready to screw my crown back in. However I could not get it no matter how hard I pushed or tried to screw it back in it would not go. It felt as if it would turn crooked or get stuck on the crown guards. Even worse with every attempt it would get stuck. I felt as if it was cross threading. A sad and extremely disappointing first impression. Since that first attempt I have been worried to unscrew the crown to attempt to reset any lost or added time throughout passing days. I currently still question the integrity and durability of the crown and overall mechanism. Im certain as it wont last long and soon here I will have a non functional dive watch.Pros -Water Resistant 330ft / 100 Meters *Personally Tested / No Issues.Absolutely stunning design.Comfy BraceletVery nice latch systemRotating BezelNice date magnificationNice weightCons -Rotating has a three minute slackGold plated band scratches easilyFolding latch unpolished and uglyCrown system seems fragileDive watches should be Automatic not QuartzConclusion -Overall the watch was well worth the $50 dollars for the time being. But if/when this crown breaks like I feel it is going to. The watch will be worthless and a waste of $50 dollars.

To summarize " you cant go wrong with this"
I was looking for a nice gift and this watch seemed perfect. I was torn between this and the invicta pro diver which also looks somewhat like the famous rolex submariner. I went with henry jay because of the extremely good reviews and it was mostly as i expected. I have an invicta watch and i have to say on the packaging department invicta wins hands down. Don't get me weong, the packaging on this was nice and above average for a $60 watch but not as nice the invicta i have not even close. The watch itself well thats what matters the most right? Here henry jay shines colors are on point i was afraid the electric blue was going to be too much but its just the right amount of blue. The watch has a nice weight to it and the chain feels premium. ive been wearing it for 2 days now and im really happy with everything. It deserves 5 stars for the price but im giving it 4 because the crown has a weird mechanism where to have to unscrew it to get it out of its home position and than it has to be screwed back. I know the rolex has a similar thing but its MUCH smother and i think if henry jay stuck to something simpler they would have been better off. Apart from this small thing the watch for $60 or even$150 is one of the best you can get
