Simple Houseware Dual Bar Adjustable Garment Rack, Black, 72-inch Height

I volunteer at a nonprofit organization that, among other things, gives away free clothing that has been donated to them. We are continually working to upgrade and improve the situation so that people can find the sizes and type of clothing they need. I have purchased two of these now - both the white version. They are not heavy duty, like many of our racks, but they are sturdy enough for what we need them for. We have two spots that can only accommodate the length of these racks, and the double rods allow us to hang more in those spots. They are easy to assemble (just follow the instructions). They provide a tiny wrench for tightening the nuts. You will need your own Phillips screw driver with a large bit for tightening the screws. On one of the racks, we utilize the LONG hanging spot for long dresses. On the other rack, we did not need the adjustable sliding bar, as we had no long items. We discovered that if we extended the sliding vertical bar the full distance, the middle sagged because there was not enough overlap of the two rods to provide strength. We could hang only the lightest items on that lower bar with that arrangement. So, we removed the vertical sliding bar and traded the BOTTOM solid piece horizontal bar in the base for the adjustable middle horizontal bar, leaving the top bar on the top. We feel the integrity of the rack is not compromised and we can now hang any weight on that lower horizontal bar that we want. Recommendations to manufacturers: Supply a cheap phillips screw driver to go with the cheap wrench. Otherwise, if you have to supply your own phillips, you might as well supply your own wrench, too. Make the overlap longer on the adjustable rod so that the rod is strong enough to actually hold clothing when the slider is pushed all the way to one side.

This product was very easy to put together. Once it’s put together it is very sturdy, I wasn’t sure as I was putting it together. But once it is done it is sturdy, even when rolling it around. I’m using it in my spare room and it looks great against the wall saving space. The wheels are easy to move this around on carpet and it does not catch or stop. Having the option to move the bar is helpful.

This is the perfect rack for organizing all of my vacation outfits. Adjusts to fit dresses, tops, and bottoms.

I just recieved this clothing rack Tuesday evening 7/9. Today I put it together in about 20 minutes or less. The poles have co-ordinating leter stickers, so, it makes it easy to know what goes with what. I first played out in alphabetical order to make it easy to grab the pole that I need. My husband's shirts are overlapping bit over the bottom rung, I have it extended to the max.It would have been nice to sell extenders in two sizes 4 inch and 6 inch.Overall the unit is sturdy, easy picture instructions and letter poles.My complaint is, the height is a bit short even max extended.I still recommend getting this clothing rack 100%

I purchased three racks to use at a friends house while I sold my house and found a condo. The box came and was put a side for 6 months while preparing the house for sale. When I finally unpacked the racks two of the boxes were intact and the two racks were a breeze to assemble and held the weight of my clothes. I did not remove my clothes off the two racks when they were rolled onto and off the moving truck. The wheels worked perfectly at all. The quality was as advertised. However, the third box/rack was missing two rods and all the hardware. Knowing it had been six months since I purchased them i knew I would not get my money back I threw the pieces away. I noticed the box containing that rack had been torn at both ends and side and had been taped up. I assumed it had been returned and resold to me without a quality control check to ensure all the pieces were in the box. I was right in the middle moving then unpacking and did not bother with reporting it at the time. When you buy make sure boxes are intact and if not check that all pieces are there if not using right away. The quality of the product is worth buying.

I bought this for extra jackets both long and short. The parts didn’t match up and I requested a refund which I was given. The bars were sturdy metal but other parts were plastic and did not stay stable .

Nice size & sturdy. Everything you need for assembly & easy to put together. I have gotten so many that fall apart this is by far best quality I've gotten & it holds a lot of clothes. Also love the roller wheels makes so easy to transport. Very satisfied!

Really good clothing rack, with easy assembly (screwdriver required). Wheels work well. Rack is very sturdy. It's metal, not cheap plastic, so it won't collapse under weight of clothes. It is large, but I would prefer if it was taller, so there is more clearance on bottom row of clothes from floor.

The rack is reasonably sturdy, but it does benefit from having extra support to stand, particularly when many items are placed on it. The sliding bar is convenient to adjust the long portion of the rack to your desired width this is appreciated. There were no instructions so it was a little challenging to put it together at first, but once things got started, it made sense. The block finishes neutral, and the dimensions are overall useful.

I based my purchase on other Amazoners' reviewst. It was easy to set up this unit, with clear visual explanations. The parts that were supposed to fit into other parts did fit well. The metal is good quality. Stability is not 100%, more like 80%, but it is not likely at all to tip. Be careful to tighten the screws well though so you reach best stability. Took most of my summer clothes. Happy with my purchase.

It was easy to assemble. Because it is tall it is a real space saver in my closet!
