Mixed emotions.
Gets five stars for appearance and non-slip feel. Gets one star for its performance, for an average of three stars.Brush-on does not leave brush strokes, so the finish looks as good as spray-on.The non-slip feel does come with a price tag, as notated by the long list of don'ts. (Note that the surface is smooth, not textured. Product does not advertise as non-slip.)This is **NOT** tough as tile, as mislead by the product name. This brand is very similar to the Rust-Oleum tub and tile refinishing kit, so those comments are just as applicable.Epoxy has different meanings. For example, in the adhesive section of the hardware store are fast drying epoxy adhesives which dry hard and crack easily. There are slow drying adhesives that remain soft and compliant. These repair kits fall under the slow drying category. The following list is from the instruction pamphlet, other reviews, and own experience:Don't use an abrasive brush or scouring pad when cleaning. Do use a soft cloth or sponge.Don't use bleach based cleaner. One reviewer did not elaborate as to what occurred.Don't use a lot of scrubbing force. It will damage the surface.Do clean often as grim and stains can get pressed into the paint surface.Don't leave items on the surface for extended periods of time. They will leave indentation marks.Don't use suction cupped pads. They will leave indentation marks, or pull up the paint when removed.Don't use a cloth type drop-cloth directly on the painted surface. Use either a smooth plastic tarp, or place plastic tarp under cloth. The fibers of the cloth will get pressed into the paint surface and leave a fabric impression in the surface, or even pull the paint up.If need to use something to stand on when working above the tub or shower, suggest a broad foot print. Small foot prints will probably leave an indentation.

USE YOUR OLD BOTTLE OF WHITE-OUT CORRECTION LIQUID. AT LEAST IT WILL GET DRY!!
I remodeled my bathroom and wanted to save money by resurfacing my tub. My contractor used this product. It was amazingly awful. While it looked like a million bucks, it's now been 10 (TEN) days and the epoxy is still tacky. At first I thought perhaps there was too much moisture in the air so I placed a dehumidifier in the room. Next I placed halogen lamps near the tub, finally I read of other customers' disasters with this product and found that one had used a space heater. So, in the heat of a Texas summer I pulled out my space heater and cranked it up to 85 degrees. Nothing, but nothing has worked to dry and harden this product. At last, I am giving up. My contractor and I are going to have to scrape this goop off of the tub and try to figure out some other way to make my tub look as wonderful as the rest of the bathroom. NOW FOR THE REST OF THE STORY: We called the Homax company. They suggested that I do all of the things that I have already done. When they learned that I had tried all of their suggestions, They didn't give a darn. They were off the line with a quickness. I'm done with Homax and all of their products for life. You should be as well. They know full well (or should have known) that their product delivers a poor result and should be pulled from every shelf every where, but they keep pushing it. How do I know they are aware? They did not have to brainstorm so called solutions. They just rattle them off. They had them on the tip of their tongue. Homax has been to this dance more than once, but have failed to improve their tub and tile epoxy.

Amazing!
Honestly I don’t understand all the bad reviews on this product… I’ve used MANY epoxy paints and this by far is the BEST! It doesn’t chip, goes on easy! Very easy to clean. It’s been about a year since I painted the tiles in my master bath it all looks absolutely perfect.

Some Improperly Proportioned Batches I Think!
I tried using this product for a shower stall and encountered ALL of the problems that other reviewers talk about on similar packaging/versions of this product. The spray does not come out properly, leaving drops all over the tub. It comes out super thin even after vigorous shaking for 10 minutes. Five coats and it's virtually transparent. It dries so fast so that by the time you see drips you cannot brush them out. The fumes are horrible!!! Can't stand it for more than a couple minutes and will probably kill pets as you can smell the fumes throughout the house. I cannot recommend this product at all! What I'm thinking is going on here is really, really bad quality control with the result is that some people get a usable product in their cans and other people like me get an improperly proportioned mixture that just does not work! I'm trying another brand and giving up on this one forever!

Don't Waste Your Time.
I was very skeptical when using this product, and it turns out I had every right to be. I am having trouble finding a new sink that fits the current dimension of my existing one, so I figured I could buy myself some time using this product. I think I bought myself 2 days before it started chipping away. As another reviewer mentions, don't plan on placing anything in the sink for even a short amount of time. It will pull the paint away.I'm not a professional, but a pretty good DIY'er. Even if you follow the instructions to the letter, it will not work.
