B & K 888-221rp Drain Caps Stop & Waste

My inside faucet that controls the outside stopcock was leaking. At first i thought i might have to replace the faucet which would have required soldering. But in looking closely the leak was from the cap area. So I took a chance with this but I didn't know what size cap to get and the bog box stores didn't stock them. It turned out he little plug that goes inside the cap was worn and causing the leak. he smallest cap was the one I needed. This fixed it. The kit is great if you are not sure what cap size you need,

The subject doesn't describe this well, but the details are correct. It's a 3-pack of ProLine drain caps, part number 888-221RP. It has three drain caps with black button washers that fit in the bottom of the cap. They're easy to lose, so open the pack carefully. The three caps are 5/16"-24, 3/8"-24 and 3/8"-27.

It worked! Arrived faster than expected.

Despite the picture, this product (Mueller 888-221RP) is actually THREE drain caps. Sizes are: 5/16"(24 tpi), 3/8"(24tpi) and 3/8"(27tpi). I have found that the larger (3/8) caps ave been hard to find locally (plumbing shop and HD).

Works great.

Finally found the right size 5/16th for the drain cap for my sprinkler system.
