The springs attach to the seat plate, slide the spring onto the shaft and use nut and washer to secure it, the same on seat bottom.

Q: will dreamizer 13" black large motorcycle spring solo seat mount on 2020 sportster? i don't see a bottom mounting pan.

This will mount there just a little fiddling around
