Death on the Nile (Poirot)

Just splendid! The charm of an Agatha Christie ambience is so mesmerizing... The writings of an author do vary from book to book depending on experiments, general attention given, etc. This one, I feel, is one where she was involved heart and soul. Hercule Poirot is involved right from start and not just AFTER the crime. That in itself is a reason enough to make this book more interesting. All in all, a very satisfying read.

Agatha Christie will remain "the queen of crime thrillers" as long as Agatha christie replaces her. Though at times a little drag, the plot she has developed and the way it was executed she deserves her place at the helm and that too with countless number of crime thrillers written by her.

The books quality(outer) was perfectI have read various books that have more than 300 pages so this was easy to read (finished it in 2 days), so if you haven't read one try some other books firstI have read only one agatha christie before this one,it had a fantastic ending but this one was just PREDICTABLE, before the first murder I had predicted the killers!! I read murder mystery a lot and write also so predicting it was easy, but I if you read murder mystery a lot then I would suggest "Murder on the Orient Express" and "Then There Were None

I somewhere in the middle had guessed the culprit, but amazed to read till the end, bcz evn having guessed, you cant guess it to the full.

Bit of a slow starter but once the bullet fired it takes pace enough to grip you till the very end. The construction is flawless, Speaking of product the book was nicely printed and delivered..good service by Amazon...

Rather than a review of a near century old novel this is a review of this particular print. The cover of this book is so nice. It is a fun art deco style with gold foil and it is truly worthy of being a coffee table book. I thought the font size was easy to read despite being slightly farsighted. This book only has a price in pounds on the back so I believe it is an import hence the slightly higher price. I think the extra few dollars to get this rather than the movie cover edition is well spent.

This book is beautifully designed and a good read.
