Fade easily, don't recommend for pet hair
These are my first sofa cover purchases. I purchased one chair cover, and two sofa covers, all in the charcoal color. I have had them a few weeks and use these covers to manage pet hair and dirt or food spills. They have accomplished that purpose, and protected my furniture from mud, a few hairballs, and a lot of pet hair. They simply drape over the furniture, and have no straps. They are 100% polyester and made in China. They currently fit well over an IKEA Ekero chair and an IKEA Friheten L-shaped sectional sofa. I used two sofa covers to cover the sectional, and just tucked the arm flaps into where the seat cushions meet. The material isn't soft, a little scratchy in fact, but they're polyester and so you trade softness for durability here. The covers are light-medium thickness. Some of the stitching along the edging on one of them is coming apart after one wash. However, the biggest problem I have with the covers is that the colors don't match, despite all being listed as "charcoal". The charcoal sofa covers are much lighter than the charcoal chair cover. I purchased all at the same time and they arrived in this way. The color difference was further exacerbated by the first wash (cold, gentle cycle). The color difference is probably not noticeable to most guests, but I was struck by the difference immediately upon opening the packages and notice it daily. You can take a look at the attached photos and decide for yourself.Overall, these covers will do the job but just know that they aren't perfectly matching and I am suspicious of their longevity. I am guessing I will have to repair them within the next couple of washes. But, the lower quality matches the lower price point.***Update***: After using these for over a year now, I have downgraded my assessment from 4 to 1.5 stars. A couple of reasons for this: After multiple washes the color has faded drastically in the two sofa covers. It looks like they were left out in the sun for hours on end. The contrast between the two covers (sofa and chair) is very stark now, to the point that people notice upon seeing it. My biggest reason for the downgrade, though, is that the covers are basically a magnet for pet hair and don't wash out. During the wash/dry cycle, pet hair gets spread to both sides of the cover, in effect coating my furniture with hair with every use. I attribute this the thick polyester I suppose? I still use them occasionally for the dirt-prevention factor, but the hair problem is the most frustrating, since that was the main reason for their purchase. I find that a plain cotton bed sheet works MUCH better for hair now, and washes out with no problems. I would not buy this product again. Instead, I am going to try a couch cover made of cotton.

Love it but modified it
I really love this cover but I did have to modify it. Our dog likes to lean over the back of the couch to look out the window. This cover has just one strap that runs horizontally on the top part of the cover, from left to right around the back of the couch. It takes two seconds to pull the top part down to the seat defeating it's purpose. I removed that strap entirely and made two straps that run vertically down the back of the couch, then underneath, and then to the front of the bottom of the cover that hangs in the front. I did this on the left and right side. It's definitely a pain now to remove and replace because you have to run the strap under the couch every time but it absolutely stays perfectly in place now. Im not saying this won't work without modifications but if you have a slick leather couch and a rowdy boxer you might have to make some adjustments.

Extremely low quality, falling apart after less than 2 months
We ordered this to put on the sofa that our cats like to lounge on. I figured they'd lie on the sofa cover and we'd wash it once a month or so just to keep it clean. Well, so far we've washed it three times (once before putting it on the sofa for the first time and once a month thereafter)....I'd say we have maybe 2-3 more washes before it completely falls apart. The color is already significantly faded, the seams and stitching are fraying in multiple places, and the fabric itself has thinned to the point of ripping in several places. Don't get me wrong--I didn't have super high expectations re: the quality of this item, given the low price, but I would honestly have paid more for something that would have lasted at least six months. All of that said, I think this *could* work for someone who doesn't plan to wash it...ever.

Size guidelines are off; colors between sizes don't match
The largest size didn't cover my 88" couch - if you want your seats completely covered, your seating area can only be about 62" wide. However, I liked the look and the material so I figured I'd just buy the chair version to cover up my last cushion. Even that was barely wide enough to cover our cushions, but the more annoying thing was that the color of the material on the patterned side didn't match even tho they were both sold as "charcoal". The seat version was noticeably darker than the sofa. Fortunately the solid flip side did match, so I've kept them. We have a leather couch with removable cushions that allow us to tuck the material in pretty well, so it doesn't shift around too badly even without straps. Eventually I plan to just sew the two pieces together and maybe put my own strap on. No one seems to make a cover designed for a larger sofa.

One is a pretty good fit
I got 2 sofa covers and I can see how the reviews on this vary. One is a pretty good fit, the other is definitely shorter. (update, a measuring tape shows one is 62" and the other is 65.5") They do appear to come with straps now (purchased from Home Fashion Designs). There is an elastic loop on each side to hook the elastic in. This does a nice job of keeping the cover up to ensure the kids and pets don't get the couch dirty! Really bummed about the size difference but like the elastic.Down graded to 3 stars...it's keeping my couch clean but warning even with elastic it does fall down if you have energetic kids. My husband was yelling at them saying he fixed it 5x the other day. But w/o elastic its always down, so it does help.

Looks nice but hope it holds up with cat's claws
I've had this for 2 days and I'm already seeing picks in the fabric from my cat's claws. I hope it lasts. It seems like it may end up looking bad if I have pick marks all over it, but I hope not because I like it. So far I only have one spot with pick marks. I purchased this because of the other reviews and the uploaded photos so I am just being honest. Its comfortable to sit on, and isn't too heavy. Plus it's pretty
