Hi will this delay one electric gate arm opener for just a couple of seconds so the other gate opens first and stays on until the gate travel is done?

No because while it could delay 1.8s at lowest setting, when the power goes off when the other gate is fully open, your second gate would be 1.8s from being fully open. See my review with product info/instructions for more details.

I have two ac units in my building for same space. can i use this to delay one unit and minimize voltage drop when both start at once?

Yes, you can. If you install timer to delay start one of the units it will be delayed. Consult with professional electrician its installation.

What is the power off period required to reset timer? IE, if power drops for 250ms will it reset?

the documentation does not say. 250ms seems a little fast as a reliable reset time. The manufacture does have an inquiry link on their website

Has anyone gotten this work with 12v DC or know of the unit im looking for?

This unit is AC only. There are DC timers out the but not sure if ICM makes one with this geometry

Works great. Timer is very accurate. Provides Delay on Make so know what you’re trying to accomplish before choosing this function timer. As stated, it’s not a Delay on Break. Good value.
