Avon Skin So Soft Bug Guard Plus Insect Repellent Gentle Breeze SPF 30 Sunscreen

I do love this product. I moved to Florida and none of the sprays kept the bugs from biting me. This is the only product that helps me. However, I do have to reapply every time I go outside. It's expensive for a small tube, especially here, so I became an Avon rep and bought multiple tubes. Scent is similar to Coppertone, and it's moisturizing. I'd give it 5 stars if it wasn't so expensive.

I went to Roatan Island for a week recently, and read about concerns about bug bites, preserving the ocean, and sunburn. Worked very well. You need to shake it well before applying.

This is my favorite lotion to ward off the bugs. I love the thinness of the lotion where I don't feel like I have put on a whole bunch of chemicals or feel too oily. Just perfect!

I bought Skin so soft to help protect against tut hose darn mosquitoes. It really helped. It lasts all day.

I bought this in preparation for a trip to a place where mosquitos are common. SPF was a bonus.I am happy to report that I was neither sun burned or bitten.I have used SSS in the past so I think it is good against bugs, but this time no one in the group experience mosquitos.The reason I give it a 4 is because the 4 oz size is a little over the TSA limits and I chose to repackage it before going to the airport.

Works ok so far

First, I have rarely had a bug bite. However, I was recently placed on a blood thinner due to AFiB. Since then, I have been a bullseye on a target! The No-see-ums, microscopic bugs have eaten me up. I have had bites head-to-toe. Female no-see-ums, like female mosquitoes, also bite hosts and feed on blood. Females need a blood meal to produce eggs, and they usually lay eggs on a moist surface, such as muddy salt marsh areas and/or soil found in agricultural operations with high manure content. We live in the country and I stand outside with our Chi's in the morning. When I come in, it feels like I have been subjected to a swarm of mosquitos. The welts last for days and ice the whole time. I recalled during my time in the military one of the female servicemembers told me about the repellant capabilities of Skin-So-Soft. I wanted something I could leave on without harmful chemicals. So, I tried Skin-So-Soft and, guess what, IT WORKED!!! I have used this for over a week now, and not had a bite since. Proof positive!!!
