Whole Terra Turbinado (Raw) Cane Sugar C in a 5 Pounds resealable bag Turbinado sugar, also referred to as raw sugar, undergoes very little processing making it a healthier alternative to white sugar. It has less calories than white sugar because it attracts moisture with its soft texture. Because turbinado sugar is crushed directly from the harvested sugar, it retains much of the vitamins and minerals from the sugar cane. The grains are much coarser and have a molasses flavor.

Great stuff, economical and wonderful to use.
Great big huge bag of Turbinado sugar. I love this stuff. It makes a wonderful addition to the top of muffins and makes them really nice and crunchy when they come out of the oven. Delicious and natural. We love it. This is also a great deal, and very economical. We put it in jars to keep it nice and fresh and easy to pour.

Heed mine and others' advice here - DO NOT BUY!
This is NOT turbinado sugar - not with its being almost as white as your regular cane sugar, and as NON-crunchy as it is. If in some world it comes out of a bag labeled "Turbinado", they get the dregs that other more conscientious sugar distributors refuse to sell as Turbinado lest it hurt their brand.

Very disappointed.
The grain and color of this sugar has completely changed from one bag to the next. It went from light color and medium grain to dark and coarse. Very disappointed.

Crackers instead of sugar
I thought I bought sugar, but I ended up with some kind of Japanese crackers? I think Amazon blew it on this one, I can't return an opened food package so I'm stuck with it.
