Diddy Kong amiibo (Super Smash Bros Series)

I love my diddy kong amiibo, but as with any amiibo, the quality will vary. With mine and some I've seenin stores, the eyes were a bit out of place. It wasn't noticeable from the angle shown onthe listing's picture, but on other angles he looks weird. In fact, I named mine Derpy Kongin smash. Besides that, the coloring on mine is spot on no with no paint smudges. Get thisfor any smash or DK fan, just be wary of the Derpy eye curse that plagues many of these amiibos.

The figure looks good, but Amazon's packaging was sub-par on this order. I bought 2 Diddys, and instead of laying one in the box length-wise and then flipping the second over and stacking it on top so that they both fit and are safe, they were shoved into the box side-by-side, creasing and bending the cardboard packaging. When it's so easy to make them fit without damaging the boxes, that's a little annoying.

I am a 26 year old man. I quite literally have a better understanding of who killed Kennedy than what these things actually do. But, my younger siblings were ecstatic when I gave it to them for Christmas. Between what can be safely assumed to be shrieks of joy were jumbled comments of gratitude and joy. We retired to the game room where my 6 and 8 year old brothers put a good old country whoopin on me in Super Smash Bros.Your kids/younger siblings will thank you for buying these.

Amiibos are exhausting.I'm always trying to hunt down the ones I am missing for my son's collection. I get mad at Nintendo for making them so hard to obtain,and some of the scalpers need a throat punch by a spiked glove. I was so glad there wasn't a rush on Diddy Kong when I bought him. My son was happy. He is nicely detailed,as most of the Amiibo collection is,and was bought at a reasonable price.
