Place an object such as some paper inside the pack, ensure knobs are fully closed in horizontal position, submerge the pack in water and gently squeeze the pack. Initially bubbles will escape from the clamp, however should there be further bubbles, the seal may be faulty. As long as there is air in the pack it will float to the surface after being submerged. (float test, bubble test) Empty water from the clamp before opening. Avoid long exposure to direct sunlight, which may damage contents. Keep the pack in perfect condition by storing out of direct sunlight and use the silica pack, avoid contact with any abrasive or sharp objects, clean with cold fresh water after use (hot water will damage the seal).
