This cup is wonderful!
Like most other double wall titanium, it is not vacuum insulated so it loses heat faster than vacuum insulated thermoses and cups. But the double wall slows down the heat loss keeping the contents warmer longer and equally important, it doesn't burn your hands. Instead it will warm your hands which is often delightful.I really like the lid and I really like the slight flare at the top which makes it less likely to slip out of my hand. It sits flat which is more than I can say for my more expensive Snow Peak cup. Overall this cup is better than the Snow Peak (except weight-wise). I hope they make a 450 ml version someday with the lid and the flared top.

the right size
My main complaint is I wish this cup had a lid you could drink through. The lid fits well but who wants to constantly remove to take a sip.

Love this little mug
Great mug for hot drinks, cold soak oatmeal overnight or hold berries or leftovers while camping. Great value seems like higher quality than price would indicate. Extremely durable. Size nests perfectly into a 550 single wall cup from same company. Smooth finish makes it easy to clean.

FINALLY - A Decent Titanium insulated cup with a GOOD Lid!
This cup is rated for 350ML. It's more like 400ML-that's filled to the brim. With 350ML of liquid, the lid still seats. If you use this with the lid, then plan on having less volume of liquid in the cup in order for the lid to seat properly. Speaking of the lid, my cup's lid came with a silicone gasket on it. When you put the lid on, it stays in place via the friction of the seal of the gasket. NICE! 'Bout time someone figured this out.SO, I put boiling water in the cup and started a timer. At the 10MIN mark I took the lid off and check the water temp, it was a 173Deg. At 15MIN mark is showed about 162Deg. The cup was set outside with the temperature at around 48F. The pressure of the steam would push the lid up while the cup was sitting. So CAREFUL- when you grab the cup! Look first to ensure the lid is not partially open - because if you tip it slightly while handling ... OUCH, that was still HOT! Better to open the lid, let some steam escape the reset the lid before grabbing the cup.The insulated cup worked GREAT! The outside skin of the cup was barely noticeably warm with boiling water just put in it! Add this cup to your light-weight hiking gear - you can have hot (or COLD) drink set aside while you cook the rest of your meal without having to worry it's going to cool off too quickly.All-in-all, I thought a good value for a piece of gear that fills a niche in my cook kit. FINALLY - A Decent Titanium insulated cup with a GOOD Lid!PS - Just for clarification ... all the pictures are pretty accurate except the lid has a gasket, and there are no external handles FYI. Also, the lid IS NOT insulated! Watch tour finger tips with any hot liquids ! :-)

It works!
Backpacker...Love this cup.Keeps liquids hot just right! A single wall titanium cup does not.It is a "luxery" item in my pack but hardly weighs more than a single wall cup.The lid does not leak when carrying it in my shoulder pouch. I like to put tea leaves in with water in the morning. Later, on an afternoon break, I drink it cool.Must use care to slip it out of my shoulder carry pouch or the lid will pop off and contents spill.Note: Do not use double wall cup as cooking pot.I wish it had a screw top.

Very nice, but loses heat through the upper 1/2 of cup and lid
This is a beautiful titanium container for hot liquids, however, it loses a good deal of heat through the upper 1/2. The lid also loses a huge amount of heat. Bottom 1/2 loses less heat as you go down to bottom where there is not heat felt at all on outside. This makes me believe that with a little effort, this container could be better insulated to have almost on heat loss. The reason for this being important is that you might still burn your lips while drinking out of this container. And if you are in extremely cold temperatures, the contents of this cup will lose the heat dry quickly. If it was better insulated, the cup could be used for thermal cooking, which is done by preheating the cup with boiling water, pouring water out and then putting hot uncooked foods in, to continue the cooking. But there is too much heat loss.Just a better insulated lid would really improve the container.

No vacuum between walls
It is NOT vacuum sealed between walls like a thermos would be. It gets hot in your hands right away, although you can still hold it. But is loosing heat. I had assumed at this price it would be vacuum insulating between walls. Does not serve my purpose for simmering food after putting hot water in it when snow camping. I bough two and they both are the same.

bad insulation
Temperature: Ice + drink makes the whole cup go cold and causes condensation. Not great… will test with hot drink but don’t expect anything good.(I have another one of different brand that doesn’t do this).Good looking though …Update: tested with hot drink… goes very hot to the touch, can’t handle easily …
