Trust: A Psychological Thriller: When Bad Things Happen Book Two

Exceptionally Good
Trust: a Psychological Thriller is an exceptional book. If I could give it six stars, I would. While one of the characters is a four-year-old who has seizures, please don’t think of this as a book only for people who have a child who is not neurotypical. I read this book in one sitting; it is very captivating. Dr. Sharon A. Mitchell does a great job of further developing the main character in this book series. Trust is book 2 and Elizabeth continues to be challenged and grow. Trust could be a standalone novel, but since Book 1 is good, too, I recommend reading both of them! Trust can be overrated
Elizabeth and her son had been kidnapped. Little did she know her husband was trying to kill her for her inheritance. Things just got worse when she was ordered to be evaluated by a psychologist. Read to find out the exciting context of this book.Well written and kept my interest from beginning to end.

Trust
This psychological thriller is one book that is hard to put down. A mother and her child have just been recovering over the child being abducted and the mother almost killed by the father and the thugs he had hired. Trying to keep her child safe, Elizabeth keeps him with her constantly and even brought him to the court hearings. The judge over it all orders her to not bring the child to any more sessions and also commands that her son be seen by a psychologist and a social worker make visits to the home. After Elizabeth researches and finds a woman psychologist, things start happening that makes Elizabeth wonder if her child is safe. Recommended read for a intriguing thriller!!

Difficult to grasp
I felt this book was just a continuation of the first book, Gone, except that Elizabeth is suffocating her son more now than before the abduction. I was unable to really get "into" the book and enjoy it the way I do most books.I was given an ebook by the author and this is my voluntary & honest review.

Another Good Book
Trust is a luxury Elizabeth cannot afford. She has her four year old son to protect. She trusted her husband and he tried to have her killed and tried to take her son. She depended on her parents and they left her. Now other people are trying to get between her and her son. Will she be able to prevent this from happening again.

Gripping story that had me from the first page....
This was my second book by this author, and I devoured it. I didn't know how she was going to continue the story since the first book did come to a close, but I am so glad I continued because this one was even better than the first one. Nail-biting suspense kept me reading into the wee hours of the night. I ordered the next book in the series as soon as I finished this one. I have a strong feeling that it won't disappoint either...

What a nightmare
In this second book of the series, Elizabeth and her son Timothy are recuperating from being kidnapped by a stranger, which thwarted a real kidnap-murder plot that her ex-husband planned. That's a lot of trauma to overcome and things are not working out well for Elizabeth.

Mother and son
This second book in series develops the characters and relationships from the first. I enjoyed this book more and the main character Elizabeth became more attractive as she wrestled with her past and her ideas of what gave her safety. It was lovely to see how supportive others were when she allowed them in.The actions of the psychologist were bizarre and hard to understand and seemed out of keeping with the rest of the plot. I did have to keep reading until the end to make sure things ended well. The take home message is that we all need help from others and to be part of a community.

2nd in a trilogy
The first book wasn't bad and kept my attention, though it had a nothing ending. I realized there were two books to follow. The 2nd book, "Trust" I couldn't get through at all (what filler) and it turned me off the main character completely AND I have the 3rd book, "Selfish" still waiting. It's going to be difficult to start the last book. Wish me luck!
