The beans are big!
The beans are approximately the size of kidney beans, whereas other brands I have purchased in the past have been roughly the size of pearl barley. Taste and texture seem consistent with other adzuki beans.

Is not Red Chori (Adzuki Beans), don't buy it unless you are happy with red kidney beans.
This product is mislabelled is like horse meat labelled at beef a few years ago, you can see from the photo the size of the beans Red Chori are much smaller and different. If you decided to keep it make sure you treat it as Red kidney beansTaken from Wikipedia below:Red kidney beans contain relatively high amounts of phytohemagglutinin, and thus are more toxic than most other bean varieties if not pre-soaked and subsequently heated to the boiling point for at least 10 minutes. The US Food and Drug Administration recommends boiling for 30 minutes to ensure they reach a sufficient temperature long enough to completely destroy the toxin. Cooking at the lower temperature of 80 °C (176 °F), such as in a slow cooker, can increase this danger and raise the toxin concentration up to fivefold. Canned red kidney beans, though, are safe to eat straight from the can, as they are cooked prior to being shipped. As few as five raw beans or a single undercooked kidney bean can cause severe nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, and abdominal pains.

These are not adzuki. They are cheap red kidney beans.
These are not adzuki. They are cheap red kidney beans, a completely different species, being passed off as adzuki. Adzuki are commonly eaten raw as sprouted seeds. Anyone eating raw kidney beans can be severely poisoned and may die. More than one buyer has already informed Amazon and the seller of this but they are still on sale. Knowingly passing these off as adzuki makes Amazon and the seller liable to prosecution for criminal negligence or manslaughter.

Kidney beans not aduki/ adzuki beans
I really don't think that they are aduki beans because of the size of them they are the size of kidney beans! You would think that old indi would know the difference but apparently not

These are plain old kidney beans, NOT adzuki or red chorri!!!! Tesco price: £3.75!!!!
Kidney beans need far more care in preparation than adzuki beans. The levels of lectins in kidney beans are much higher, and they can be dangerous if not properly prepared. Calling these adzuki beans is not only wrong, it is potentially fatal! If you want 2Kg of kidney beans, buy them for £3.75 from Tesco, not £8.19 from here. DO NOT BUY THESE!!!!!

Adzuki or Kidney beans?
These look like Kidney beans to me. Adzuki beans are half the size and only a little bigger than the mung beans also pictured. They were cheap tho so I guess you get what you pay for not always what is advertised.
