The media could not be loaded. This PVC brick panelling is great and just what we needed to cover our chimney! The chimney was closed up with a board on the front and wallpapered over the top. This made the front of the chimney very uneven and the board really showed. We didn't want the expense and mess of having to open up the chimney so the panelling worked perfectly to cover it. You can't even tell that the board is there now. The panelling is thin but that's the way you need it to be to be able to cover uneven surfaces easily. It was easy enough to use and...YOU CAN BEND IT using the heat of a hairdryer. I measured where the bend would need to be and used a straight edge carpenter's square to bend the panel around it while heating it with the hairdryer. That trick worked perfectly! I trimmed the joining edges and staggered the panels in a brick layered pattern and I think that helps to hide the seams and keep the pattern from being too obvious. I used "UniBond No More Nails" original heavy duty adhesive. It adhered to the surface very quickly and feels very solid. I would definitely recommend these panels to anyone. I am very pleased with them and it was a fun project to do as well 😀.

Have just started to put this on chimney breast in loft bedroom trying to bend around corners not cut so put some heat on it with hairdryer to help, it’s not finished yet but looks good will be easy to fit on straight walls used a lot of glue on chimney fitting so far, happy with quality colour would purchase again.

I was surprised by how realistic it looks. It needs framing at the sides. Otherwise a gap will be seen between the tiles and wall. Do not clean with water as the colouring can come off.

I made a big mistake ordering this product. First off it does not look anything like in the Amazon photos. It looks cheap and not very convincing. Secondly, because it is molded, the backs are uneven, very little grip area. I tried sticking it with 3 different adhesives, to a perfectly plastered wall but it was not easy. I am now in the process of sending this product back, big hassle. I ordered 2 lots but can only return 1 lot as I have cut, some of the first lot ! Big mistake and I am not happy !

Very difficult to secure evenly to the wall

This wall has a roughly bricked up fireplace and wallpaper has never covered it properly. Put this up in around 30 minutes with a spray adhesive. It's thinner than you'd imagine but goes up easy and is also easy to trim. Not quite finished in these pictures as I need a little more. What you see here is the 10 pieces.

I made a fake fireplace surround to look like a floor to ceiling chimney. I added MDF to a cheap shelving unit and then stuck the slate effect bricks to the MDF with instant grip glue. The bricks are easy to bend and mould into shape with a hot air blower, so you can go around corners and make a real 3 D effect with them.Looks realistic and for a fraction of the cost and effort of making a real brick one.
