The Freshman Survival Guide: Soulful Advice for Studying, Socializing, and Ever

This book is my go-to graduation gift for high school kids. I purchase several copies each year for gifts. It's well-written, and covers just about any situation you can think of! It's an easy-to-read format, you could pick it up and just scan through a few bites or sections, or you could sit down and read it front to back. I recommend it to anyone headed to freshman year at college. The author has a great conversational tone, and gives great advice that young adults might find more tolerable, coming from someone who is not their "parent." Good buy.

Great advice for a college student!

Bought this for my niece who is entering her freshman year of college. She has already put the great recommendations contained in this book to good use and I'm sure it will be her "bible" during her first semester. Well-written and interesting. Though written in an entertaining way, the author is very serious in providing new students with the information to keep them centered and safe. I read some of the chapters and found them very entertaining and informative. A must have guide for the student embarking on this most important chapter of his/her life.

This was my daughter's second gift when she read the title she instantly laughed but she appreciated it and already started reading it hope it helps her on her journey

My daughter said it was a good book to read the summer before freshman year of college.
