The media could not be loaded. I build model dioramas as a hobby. For the ultimate realism I like to put a sound clip of the subject of the build incorporated into it. Such as a race car I would use a sound clip of an engine revving and tires squealing. I used to do this with gizmos from radio shack. Well now they're gone so I had to find an alternative. This is it! Super simple to use. Nice and loud. All packed into one compact unit. It can be used for a ton of other projects limited to your imagination. I had no trouble with any static or unwanted sounds in my recordings. The way its designed prevents any accidental erasing unless you want to go back and rerecord your sound bite. Just plug in the 3.5 mm jack into any device with that port to transfer the sound onto the digital chip built into this unit. Theres no microphone to distort the sounds. Its a direct file transfer like you would put music on your phone. You can edit the sound on your device to what you want and this will copy it exactly. As you can see in the video I included I am building a diorama of Michael Myers from the Halloween movie and plan on including a clip of the soundtrack. Its gonna be so cool when I'm done 😁😁. For its price and ease of use I highly recommend this product.

Easy to make recordings the clarity of the recording is good. Big push button with small box size make it easier to hide.

The media could not be loaded. I got inspired to create my own Yoshi toy. I enjoy making crotchet projects from time to time of various well known characters. This time I wanted to make a Yoshi that spoke and decided to purchase this sound box. I had no problems following instructions nor when recording. All went smooth. My only problem was that there was a recording of a song already recorded on as if it was previously used by someone. So that made me feel like I bought a used item for the price of a new one. Unless they all come previously recorded with this jingle. Other than that I am satisfied and may come back to purchase more when inspired :)

I have purchased two of these, and they both have my deceased daughter's voice singing a lullaby inside a stuffed animal for her 3 and 4 year old granddaughters. Listening to them is their favorite way to go to sleep at night. Hearing her voice singing is a priceless gift, one we all treasure, as will, hopefully, her great-grandchildren, and any other grandchildren that come along in the future, thanks to these readily available little boxes. She recorded the song many months before she went to heaven for her one grandchild, but hadn't done the other child's yet. So I recorded the box that already had the song onit to a new box. (It has a little static, but not bad.) The drawback, and it is crucial, is that I had to find a phone (they say a computer will work too) that had a hole in it to plug the box in! I couldn't figure out any other way to do it, and hopefully the company will find a way to offer other ways to record. Thankfully, I had an old phone that had a hole, and I charged it up and though I couldn't hear it playing, I could see the line on the phone that showed it was recording and was able to capture the song! My daughter also recorded me two songs on these boxes! Thank you to this company for making it possible to have such treasures.

I have been looking for something for a special present for my Brother. I wanted to record some words and singing of our mother, who has passed. This had the largest amount of recording time that I could find anywhere. I looked at the mixed reviews and was a little worried. I found a recording of my mother on VHS, we used it on the only one in our house, which was attached to a child’s TV. We connected it into the headphone jack, followed the advice of a few people that said to turn it up, and it worked perfectly! I actually had to re-record it because it was a little too loud. Very clear, and the time on it was more than enough to accomplish what I wanted to do.The advice I got on here helped as well. Someone said not to hold down the button. I’m not sure if it made a difference, but I did not.Thank you so much for making a product with the large amount of recording time, and quality. I just sent it to my Brother for Christmas. Cross my fingers, he likes it!

I bought this product because of its Re-recordable ability. It was also purchased specifically for a program called, donate life. The purpose and goal for me purchasing the re recorder was that the people involved in the program could find the best possible way to make a recording of a person's heart beat before their organs are harvested for transplant. The family would then recieve this priceless gift to cherish always. Unfortunately, it worked once and that was it. Batteries changed etc.. it just died. For me this was very disappointing as I am the mother of a donor child and this is my project. I am trying to have it become a part of all programs going forward. I did not recieve a recording of my child's heart beat because I was not thinking straight and just never thought to do it.. that is until it was to late. So to say that I am disapointed in this device is an understatement. I am happy for all of you that were not disapointed in this product. I now have to start my search again for a reliable device.

I bought this to record the Benny Hill theme. Now every time something really stupid happens at work - and it really can be a clown show at times - I press the button. Those of us that are in on the joke get endless joy from this little device (unfortunately). It works great - can be a little tricky to start the recording at the right moment - but aside from my shenanigans, I could see how this would be a really cool thing to put into homemade stuffed animals, etc. Pretty neat and works great.
