El libro es fácil de seguir y entender. Ayuda a la comprensión de la antropología, de manera sencilla.Lamentablemente, a esta edición le faltan las páginas del capítulo 23.Devolví un primer ejemplar, por esta razón. La reposición tiene el mismo problema. Viendo los comentarios de otros clientes, pareciera que la edición completa ha salido defectuosa. Una lástima.

I'm not an anthropology student, but I've always been interested in archeology and evolution. I tried this book to just get an overview and general introduction and I was not disappointed. This is not a textbook, but it's well written, easy to follow and understand.

A really great read

I got this book to learn the general basics of anthropology and how it relates to archaeology. I find it easy to read and it explains the subject in more detail than I expected. It is not a complete college course, but does a good job of introducing a complex field to a beginner. Perfect for someone who may want to see if they may want to persue a career in anthropology or anyone who has a layman's interest in the subject. My one complaint is the reader would be well served if the author had left out his obvious liberal bias which often taints his credibility.
