Look at better options even if it will cost more.
Package came already opened. I followed instructions in booklet but it would not let me set my finger print as administrator and would not let me erase it either. I would of returned it for a refund, however $15 is not worth the risk of sending my finger print information to have it potentially exploited.

The cable completely detaches from the lock on both ends. easy for it to come off and get lost.
I loved it for my daughter’s backpack, definitely worth the money. She didn’t have to worry about losing or forgetting her key. Unfortunately she didn’t secure it on her bag and lost it. But I would definitely buy it again.

The idea is greatThe problem is that it’s not a padlock of any value with that little string and some crap plastic being the only thing protecting your stuffThe concept of a fingerprint padlock is awesome, this failed in execution
