SAKURA SUMOGRIP PNCL CLR 0.9 PK6

The fact that this pencil is clear / white is what drew me to it in the first place since I love the minimalist look of it. Most pencils come in bright colors (which I despise) but this one blends in my decor so well. On top of that, the fact that this is a 0.9mm lead pencil makes for a very smooth writing, which is what I prefer for any pencils and pens. I love darker writing so I ordered 0.9mm leads in 2B, which makes everything that I write very easily readable since it is a darker color and thus, has much more of a contrast when writing on white paper.The pencil itself has a larger barrel but it quite light weight, which makes it very comfortable to write with. How I wish I had this pencil was I was a University student ! But what I love the most about this pencil is the fact that it has a jumbo twist eraser. It is so practical and lasts for a very long time. This is by far, my favorite pencil that I own and that is saying a lot because I own quite a few of them. The only downside to this pencil is that since it has a larger barrel, it is sometimes hard to fit it in a pen loop. But I love writing with this so much, that I don't care. I like a 0.9mm pencil.I only paid $5 for this pencil. Unfortunately the plastic this thing is made from is rubbish. First the clip snapped off. Then the barrel split, and the soft vinyl finger-grip has turned to slime, altogether rendering the pencil completely unusable.

A fragile plastic writing tool. The 0.7mm and 0.5mm pencils have strong metal constructions. The 0.9mm on the other hand is plastic and thus a terrible buying choice because the tip will break after use and proceed to chew through lead if you try to rationalize your purchase. Received a refund on the first one that broke and lost my return window on the second. If only I wrote more so I could have broken it early enough to return it. Terrible product do not buy.

Love these pencils, extra long replaceable erasers and super comfortable grip. I also find the 0.9mm lead that this pencil takes hardly ever breaks and still can write with the time detail of a 0.5mm pencil.

Same thoughts on this as the black 0.7 lead Sakura. The clip for this one for mine broke off easiy though and I don't know how, but its actually better to draw with for me without the clip! Who would have thought? :P
