Adult size, youth would depend on age/ size of hands. Should Work well if they are a teenager.

Will this fit a 9yr old?

No it would not fit a 9 year old. You will need a 10 or 10 1/2. This glove is big!

Will this fit my 9 year old?

It can fit a 9 year old. For each of my a2000 that I give my son, I end up tightening the laces at the wrist. I actually undo the wrist laces completely and move them all up one set of holes. That seems to be enough to make it work. I have only had him try using 11.5 inch so far. I think 12 inch or more might be too heavy for him yet. He is 10.

I underestimated the pedroia fit! After watching many videos online about it I thought my hand could squeeze into this bad boy no problem, but man was I wrong. I had to adjust the wrist to the largest opening, but after I did this the glove felt phenomenal! I always expect great quality from A2000s and this did not disappoint, although it will need some breaking in, can’t wait to use it once it is!!
